Civil disobedience is an appropiate weapon in the fight for justice.


I'd like to begin by pointing out what consitutes as "civil disobedience". According to Black' Law dictionary, civil disobedience is "deliberate, open, and peaceful violation of particular laws, decrees, regulations, military or police orders." If the violation does not fit this code, it cannot be called civil disobedience. My first point is that civil disobedience is a last resort. Legal channels can never truly be exhausted, as there is always another chance to write a letter to a senetor...

I think that god a man and a women to get marry, not a womwn and a women or a man with a man. So We US citizen have to stop it now....
is civil disobedience still necessary in a democracy?


In the past, there are many times when civil disobedience has brought about a change. Ghandi, Martin Luther King Jr, and Rosa Parks are all prime examples. But in today's society, we no longer need to disobey the law in order to bring about change. There are court procedures, you can talk to any official... All of these are nonviolent ways of brining about a change, the only difference is, one is legal....
