About Me:I am a French immigrant living in Miami. A Libertarian, I am strongly opposed to both conservative and neoliberal politics but still believe all sides have certain arguments that need to be listened to. I am currently working as the campaign manager of Tiffany Briscoe, a Democrat who is running for the Presidency of the United States in 2012.
Activities:Campaigning Writing Reading Partying Hanging Out with Friends
Beliefs:I believe that mankind is the most evolved sort of life because of its ability to reason and to choose wisely. Opposing utilitarianism, I also believe individual rights should always be stronger than group rights and that on the longer term, both would eventually influence each other. I also believe that science is the tool that will help humans survive in the coming century. With Science, everything is virtually possible, from finding a cure to HIV to prolonging life standards for everyone and discovering new inhabitable planets. Yet, I still want to believe that all the system was at first organized by God, the Supreme Being that represents everything in this Universe. In fact, I consider myself a Deist for this reason.

Bank loans and students loans are essentially completely back by the government. The only Major difference is that student loans can not be wiped out by bankruptcy law. With the worries of not having enough Doctors or enough Americans being able to compete in STEM fields is there is no excuse for for profit banks to receive a better rate and more protection from bad decisions then Americans trying to improve themselves....

We do not need the State to help us live our lives.

Since this is a pretty long subject, I don't want to spend too much time talking about the structure of the debate and I would like to start it right away. As a summary, I begin by posting my first argument and my opponent will answer right away. To define the State, I am talking about the legalized monopoly that is currently and conventionally divided into three branches: the executive, the legislative, and the judiciary. The State is the land monopoly that controls more or less the individu...
