I argue that the Christian God is against the acceptance of gay marriage, albeit still loving gay individuals. My main reason for believing this is that God mentions his abhorrence of homosexual behavior numerous times in the Bible, both in the Old and New Testaments. Most famously, Leviticus 18:22, according the New Living Translation, "Do not practice homosexuality; it is a detestable sin" [1].
