About Me:My name is Erik, I am almost finished in secondary school and about to enter the sixth form.
Activities:Not much really, reading, Facebook etc.
Beliefs:Although I am Buddhist, I think that most of the stories are metaphorical and I use the Buddhist teaching to help me make my own decisions, I don't let them make my decisions for me. I don't believe in life after death but I still try my best to be a good person, so it would not really be too bad if there was life after death.
Books:I like factual book more than fiction, and I don't really like reading books on history or literature.
Movies:I don't really watch many movies but I like comedies such as the Inbetweeners Movie.
Music:I like most genres of music but hip-hop music is my favourite.

we are not longer evolving signficantly as humans, on balance as a whole. remember, evolution is where the weak die and the only those that live to copulate further their genes. changes in specific animals don't cause evolution... eg, you can't cut your thumb off and get your kids thumbless. there will be spurts as those who are superior will tend to get together etc... but on balance, the weak will dilute the gene pool. we will never branch off into another species or become superior in...

Hi, I am not a Christian but I live in the UK, so I do read about it occasionally and Christians believe that money should be spent responsibly and not wasted, yet if you look at the Catholic churches, they have very expensive designs and decorations which are not beneficial, I see this as using money irresponsibly.
