•	Abortion	ProComments Absolutely in cases of rape or when the mother's life is in danger. When it is a matter of convenience, it should be treated as a major choice but it shouldn't be illegal.
•	Affirmative Action	UndComments Good intentions, but it's not the best way to achieve equality.
•	Animal Rights	UndComments Regulated hunting is cool, torturing animals isn't. I'm not too dismayed by cruelty to animals, but I'm not against preventing it.
•	Barack Obama	UndComments Well intentioned economic policy, identical foreign policy to every other president of the last 150 years. Not impressed.

•	Iran-Iraq War	ConComments I don't really get why this is an opinion question. But since the US funded and armed Saddam Hussein whilst he developed WMDs, committed genocide, and used illegal chemical weapons, I'd say that I especially hate this war.

•	Legalized Prostitution	ProComments As long as it's regulated and made safe, why the hell not?
•	Medicaid & Medicare	ProComments Well intentioned programs. They could be better, but they're a step in the right direction.
•	Medical Marijuana	ProComments It shouldn't even be a contested issue whether marijuana is legal at all, let alone a prescription drug. Hey everyone, guess how many people have died directly from smoking pot? Zero. Look it up.
•	Military Intervention	ConComments Military intervention can be used for good like an axe can be used to perform delicate surgery. As it stands, American intervention has resulted in 3 genocides, the fall of countless democracies, and the introduction of twice as many dictatorships.
•	Minimum Wage	UndComments It's well intentioned, although it could be lower.
•	National Health Care	ProComments I consider it common decency. And so does the rest of the civilized world.
•	National Retail Sales Tax	UndComments It seems like a good idea.
•	Occupy Movement	UndComments If they want to stir up trouble, they can go right ahead. I would agree with them more if they had a coherent message.
•	Progressive Tax	ProComments Again, I think it's a good idea. I'm sure that wealthier people don't, but they can afford it.
•	Racial Profiling	ConComments It certainly shouldn't be standard operating procedure. I can't control how other people think, so it doesn't matter whether I like the idea or not. Also, it often results in fear or impulse based assumptions, which are usually wrong.
•	Redistribution	UndComments This obviously depends on what is implied by redistribution. If we're talking full on communism, then no. If you mean a system in which every pays in and everybody gets benefits, then yes.
•	Smoking Ban	ProComments Your right to smoke doesn't override my right to not be harmed by your actions.
•	Social Programs	ProComments It benefits society as a whole.
•	Social Security	ProComments Has problems, still a good idea.
•	Socialism	UndComments I don't want the state to control the people, I want the state to help the people. State socialism is a terrible idea.
•	Stimulus Spending	ProComments It helps the economy in a recession.
•	Term Limits	ProComments In a perfect world when a person is doing a good job they can just keep getting elected, but that leaves the door wide open for corruption and bribery.
•	Torture	ConComments First of all it doesn't work because people will say whatever they think you want them to. Second of all, it's fucking wrong.
•	United Nations	ProComments Good intentions, mixed results. Certainly not a bad thing, and worth maintaining.
•	War in Afghanistan	ConComments Useless war for American hegemony and oil access.
•	War on Terror	ConComments Blowback. Look it up.
•	Welfare	ProComments I want to help people, but I also want them to get a job and contribute to society. Ideally welfare could be implemented to achieve both of those goals.
