I think that reason, evidence, and the scientific method should guide our beliefs about the world. This would necessarily entail the view that faith and revelation are not a means to knowledge. Although I don't believe in God I don't think of myself as an atheist anymore than I think of myself as a nonastrologer or an atoothfairyist.
