•	Abortion	ProComments I would not want to go through this experience for myself, but I would not legislate my opinion and stop others from doing so for whatever reason.
•	Affirmative Action	ConComments Pro AA for employment; Con for Education and Quota Systems. No two employees are equally qualified, so AA doesn't go too far, usually. Quota systems, like in Universities, cause otherwise qualified individuals to not be hired.
•	Border Fence	ConComments Too expensive for such little practical use. Guards and other personel would need to be hired to patrol the fence, costing even more money each year. In short, the money is better spent elsewhere.
•	Campaign Finance Reform	ProComments Studies show that the more money in a campaign, the more likely a candidate will win. This unfairly advantages the wealthy and those financially backed by the wealthy. It also causes many of our representatives to be indebted to special interests. I
•	Civil Unions	ProComments I support both gay marriage and civil unions, so long as either of them gives same-sex couples the same benefits enjoyed by heterosexual couples.
•	Death Penalty	ConComments It is too expensive and there are too many mistakes.
•	Drug Legalization	ProComments It is the opinion of some that drugs are bad. Prohibition is a form of legislating opinion. The people can decide for themselves how they feel about drugs.
•	Environmental Protection	ProComments We must protect our natural resources, but without going too overboard. We should not destroy our economy in order to drastically change our environmental policy, but we should make a responsible shift.

•	Euthanasia	ProComments This is another issue of legislating opinion. If a person determines that s/he no longer wishes to live, then they should have the option to painlessly end their existence.
