About Me:I am the best of the worst debaters on this site. I have no background with formal debate. I'm really on here just to BS with people. I'm part of the handful of people who have been here since the inception of DDC (Not DDO). No longer active, I'm on from time to time.
Activities:I'm a horrible debater. I consider myself more of a speaker than a debater. My debate style is very simplistic, I basically read what my opponent wrote and type whatever it is that I feel like saying. Expect showmanship, smoke & mirrors, but please don't be offended. It's all just part of the game, audience.
Beliefs:I believe that every issue is inherently meaningless and that since this is the case, every side for every issue can be argued. There is no inherent rhyme or reason to the world, so it's up to us to make our own.

The belief in (Christian) Heaven is both unscientific and unreasonable

SHSAT's Should No Longer Proceed

Isranaz12
Kleptin

Recently, students have taken SHSAT's and have been declined from schools with only a distance of a few points. Some students who couldn't afford Kaplan classes still received points over 400, however, they were not accepted. Besides education, SHSAT's are producing many other wedge's in the society. SHSAT's should no longer proceed....

Pro will argue China should become a Federal Republic, con will argue the opposite. $th round will not be played, unless I am pm'd to extend it. Only conclusion should go there until I do. One rule... - You may not argue the republic part. We will assume they have the US federal government system of states for the purpose of the debate....

What to study in college & why? [Career Challenge]

Regaladia
Kleptin

Hello onlookers, I am Regaladia. I made this challenge in order to give ideas about career paths. I will pick 6-9 study fields, & propose why they should be highly studied. Challenger will then pick 6-9 different study fields, & do the same. Since this round is just for hellos, I would like to ask my challenger to follow 3 simple rules: 1# CHALLENGER MUST PARTICIPATE IN EVERY ROUND! (I highly disapprove of individuals that forfeit.) 2# Challenger should be my devil's advocate. (Explain why...

It should be compulsory to recycle recyclable material and waste.

MASTERY
Kleptin

Welcome to this debate on whether it should be compulsory to recycle recyclable material and waste.Round 1 is for defining the argument. I define compulsory as parallel with the law, recycle as either (a) deliver it to a place where it is recycled, or(b) recycle it yourself.I define waste as anything used and material as anything that is useful for some purposes, such as cloth, bark etc....
