About Me:A college student interested in expanding my views through civilized debate. I enjoy being challenged to think about topics and positions by sensible arguments against mine.
Activities:Computer related activities (gaming, technology, etc.), books, museums, art, music, etc. Other nerd related activities.
Beliefs:I believe that logic and reason should prevail and that what's best for the individual may not be what's best for the society. We must take this into consideration if we are to advance technologically, socially, and economically. Names and labels are used to separate different people of different beliefs and should not be used as such; we should sit down not as Republicans and Democrats (or other labels), but as citizens of the same environment and seek a solution best for everyone, or at least the majority.
Books:'1984', 'I, Robot' (the short stories of Asimov), the few Greek plays of antiquity I read, collectively. Oedipus especially.
Movies:Shawshank Redemption, Secondhand Lions, Cloverfield, District 9...
Music:Nine Inch Nails, Blue October, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gorillaz, Barenaked Ladies... Bits and pieces of most genres, but those are the big ones.
Quotes:"Problems cannot be solved with the same kind of thinking that created them"

"Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen."

"The most incomprehensible thing about the world is that it is at all comprehensible."

"Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are even incapable of forming such opinions."

All from Einstein.
Sports Teams:Um... No? I'm not a fan, sorry hehe.
TV Shows:Um... Don't watch it much, but Family Guy, South Park, The Colbert Report, and Destination Truth.
