I know that this bill has a lot of support in Washington, but what about outside the capitol? Does anybody feel strongly against this bill?...

Ragnar_Rahl

Based on my analysis with the topic at hand as well as my own personal proclivity with this subject, I am obliged to affirm the resolution and state that same-sex marriage ought be legalized in the United States. Before, continuing, I must make observations on the topic at hand, and the main definition for this debate is the following:

Ought: [a term] used to indicate duty or correctness; used to give or ask advice

Ragnar_rahl should join Social's tourny

Ragnar_Rahl
Ore_Ele

I have been presented with this proposition on my profile by the technically challenged user, Pro. This question was, unusually for Debate.org presented de novo, I have no directly applicable precedent on which to evaluate it, as such, I shall leave Pro to provide his arguments and then address them. I presume by "Should" he means that I would achieve more value than I would expend by joining such a tourney, and invite him to notify if I have misconstrued his intent.

Essential – 1. Absolutelynecessa...

chewing gum at school

valval106
Ragnar_Rahl

Why gum chewing should not be allowed in school. Okay, so most kids like chewing gum. Some kids think we should be allowed to chew it in school. I disagree with these claims. I think chewing gum would be a bad idea to have in school. If gum chewing was allowed, not all kids would be chewing every second of the day. Say a class was taking a test and a particular girl was not chewing gum but the person beside of her was. The girl taking the test becomes distracted. This is because many times...

A resolution to compensate the wrongly convicted.

Erick
Ragnar_Rahl

Welcome to my debate! Now, I will give off the key ideas that would come with the resolution. 1- The federal government compensates them with $50,000 per year of incarceration for exonerated felons. 2- All states have to expunge the criminal records of the wrongly convicted. I will give my arguments and such in round 2, after I get my opponent and his acceptance of the debate. Thank You....
