Should single gender schools exist?

My premise is that the cons of single gender school outweighs the pros. I am against single gender schools for the following reasons: 1. Fun- Without a doubt the majority of students would usually prefer a school with both genders if given the choice. The purpose of school is to help on a successful life in the future. A successful life means a few things, overall resulting in fun. Fun may be the purpose of everything, because that is of course what everybody wants. Single gender schools...

Resolved: The Bible as we have it today contains no errors of consequence

Terms The Bible - The 66 books of the established cannon recognized by the Christian Church. Contains - Contradictions that are WITHIN the text. It is not a viable argument to present the Old Testament as contradicting with anything outside of the text, including Science, the Church, Other Religions, Other Documents from the Ancient World, etc. Genuine Contradiction - An actual contradiction. An example of two texts that cannot both be true. Consequence - A contradiction that poses actua...

Youth shoplifting is still stealing!
So this is how it's going to go: Round 1: Intro/Opening statements of your side. Round 2: State arguments and also defend your side. Round 3: Rebuttals So I've decided to take the con side of this debate. I think shoplifting has its morals as well, and while shoplifting is still physically stealing, are they ethically stealing? That is the question I want to make clear because that is how I interpret shoplifting. I don't condone stealing and in some cases it may be wrong, but there's a...

History is a great teacher
History is an umbrella term that relates to past events as well as the discovery, collection, organization and presentation of information about these events. I do not believe that History is a great teacher. We may have come to know about various events but have we really learnt from them? We all know war is a wasteful enterprise but has this knowledge stopped nations from producing more war heads? Has it stopped us from fighting or getting ready for more fights?...
The Lord of the Rings is better than Harry Potter

To open the offer and acceptance stage, I will rid any confusion by saying that I will be arguing in favor of The Lord of the Rings and my opponent shall support Harry Potter. For clarification's sake, the arguments for which is better are based on content (characters, setting, plot, etc) and not which sold more. As such, claiming one sold more is not considered a relevant argument. I ask my opponent to rely more on the books, however adaptations are still accepted. If adaptations are used...
1=1 always

I have a rule:
The point must be made logically, and not mathematically. Math can obviously be used, but not to prove the statement. If you can prove the statement mathematically, I would assume you can also do with logic. So you must explain logically.
