Why should teachers be laid off because of seniority? Many electives teachers got laid off. Even a Music Teacher got laid off even though she won a award for the best teacher in the valley! Ironic isn't it?...

Should chewing gum in school be allowed? To me, chewing gum in school should not be allowed because it is a distraction.Here are some of the reasons why I think that chewing gum should NOT be allowed in school. 1) Chewing gum will be very disrespectful and disruptive to peers because it makes loud smacking sounds. I am arguing that America was not founded as, nor is now, a definitely Christian nation. The founding father's ideologies towards religion were quite ambivalent and deist in nature - not Christian. I would love to hear an argument against this statement....
