Recording interaction with police officers should not be against the law.

Many thanks to my opponent in advance for accepting this debate. The idea for this challenge stems from a forum topic discussing the same issue: whether or not one is within their legal rights - or should be within their legal rights - to record interaction between civilians and police officers. As it stands, over a dozen states prohibit at least audio recording - if not both audio and video. Should countries in Africa become a political and economic union?

•	National Health Care	ProComments Canada's health care system has kept me healthy and happy, literally since the day I was born. It isn't perfect, but that just means trying to fix whats wrong - not scrapping the entire thing, especially considering all the good it does.
•	National Retail Sales Tax	ProComments From what I know of it, it is similar to the GST/PST/HST system we have here. It isn't bad, and I feel fine with such a system.

•	Progressive Tax	ProComments It might seem unfair, but a progressive tax program makes sense; those with so much disposable income can afford an increase in taxes, while those that have little cannot. You need to temper it of course, to combat any loss of innovation and investme

•	War on Terror	ConComments How do you declare war on a concept? I don't know. It was botched from the beginning, and it seems it will be botched until the end. I understand the justification for it, but so far it has just been a huge money-hole.
•	Welfare	ProComments Welfare is needed because quite frankly, there are those out there that need the help. The state in its duty as an entity designed to protect and further the rights of individuals should provide that help when required. But, I'm for stricter control.
