Taxi Driver is one of the greatest films of all time

I think Taxi Driver is one of the greatest achievements within the film industry, and arguably one of the greatest films ever made. I've experienced a magnificent amount of people who don't understand this movie or what makes it so good, and that is the reason as to why I want to have a debate with someone who is "con" towards this movie.
