Pro

pick up 0 sodas from the floor

i can cut an apple in 4 pieces, and then resemble the apple and have it look like i got a full apple, but i have an apple in 4 pieces

1+0=1 is a false equation, 1 can not be added to 0, so its just 1, 1 banana + 0 bananas dosnt mean 1 banana dissapears and neither is 0 bananas added, it simple cant happen, and i still have 1 banana..

so 1+0(1)

0*6(6)

0/3(3)

3/0(3)

Con

I gladly accept.

Pro

go ahead...
ClashnBoom

Con

Thank you Pro for letting me argue first.

1. The dictionary meaning of nothing is "Something of no importance." But zero is very important for what is one hundred without a zero? 1. What is the difference between 10 and 1? A zero. What is the difference between 0.1 and 1? A zero. (And a period but that's not the point.) What makes computer programs run? 1s and 0s. With all that uses of zero I think its safe to say zero means something.

2. * It simply cannot happen.

3. One banana plus one apple equals how many bananas? 1. So in that equation the apple equals nothing though it is something. It is like a zero.

something is the opposite of nothing, something is matter, matter is true

0 used in programming is different, 0 is absolute. pick up 0 sodas from the floor

1banana+1apple=2 fruits=1 banana and 1 apple
ClashnBoom

Con

1. 0 in programming is still a zero.
2. 1 + 0 equals two numbers=1 one and 1 zero.

Pro

you dont understand..

you can say 0 has the value of a chicken and make it fit in an equation

you can not add 0 to 1. pick up 0 sodas from the floor
ClashnBoom

Con

1. Of course I don't understand this idiotic idea.

2. You can add 0 to 1 and it makes 1.

3. I will explain zero to you. Zero is not nothing it has no value but it is not nothing.

vi_spex

Pro

so where do you find 0..
ClashnBoom

Con

Everywhere like where you find 2. Zero is like a dime. A dime is nothing to a billionaire but everything to a poor man for you need a dime to make a billion and a zero to make a ten.

I never said to join a religion, I said to improve your arguments as they are nonsensical.

vi_spex, you have a 4.11% win ratio. Do you not think that it is time to actually improve your points?

Reasons for voting decision: Cons argument for computer language was strong. 1 being presence of charge, 0 being absence of charge. 0 is significant in being able to accurately define what 1 is. Pro tried to make the argument that some sort of disappearing act and movement of an object had to take place for an equation to be true. He did not further substantiate that claim.
