10,000 B.C. is a racist movie because throughout the whole movie you see a race of tanned vikings pillage and plunder african, eqgyptian, and indian villages. These raiders are led by a God and his priests (his Priests are Hindus and albino people). This God is an old white male, and the only one in the movie, and is in charge of enslaving, killing, and demanding sacrifices of his people and slaves.

I am going to say one thing really quick

"10,000 B.C. is a racist movie."

- Give me a break

"10,000 B.C. is a racist movie because throughout the whole movie you see a race of tanned vikings pillage and plunder african, eqgyptian, and indian villages. "

- How dose this make the film "racist" it was the backdrop of the film they needed the bag guys to maybe be "racist" by enslaving the empires around them but how dose that make it a racist movie because the bad guys where bad?

"These raiders are led by a God and his priests (his Priests are Hindus and albino people)."

- How absurd can you be? the main instigator in the film was a giant pale white being (you never had the chance to really see what it was) that the bad guys worshiped. The priests of this "God" where not Hindu you ignoramus they where simply dressed in orange robes...I did not see pacifist monks or Buddha in the film. I saw priests dressed in orange and red sacrificing slaves to this "God"

"This God is an old white male, and the only one in the movie, and is in charge of enslaving, killing, and demanding sacrifices of his people and slaves."

- First of all you never had the chance to see what the "God" truly was so by saying he WAS a white male is moronic.

My opponent's entire argument is that the bad guys where bad guys. The film in no way represented "racism" as we know it.

1st. The white "God" that the bad guys worshiped was completely un-human like. It was about 15 feet tall with a deep demonic voice. And you never really got a look at what he/it was.

2nd. By saying this movie is "racist" you might as well throw in Star Wars also. The bad guy in Start Wars (Darth Vader and his master) are both white men in power trying to kill/enslave the entire galaxy.

3rd. The main character in this film was clearly a cave-man who led an army against an powerful empire much like you see in "apocalypto"

Your allegations about this movie being "racist" are moronic. This film was based in an imaginary world with talking monsters, magic, Gods, and Empires and places that never existed anywhere besides our imaginations.

In response to Jlconservative stating that you never really got see the "god" in the movie to determine whether or not he was white is absolutely false. Clearly at the end of the movie after the "god" rolls down the stairs, his veil is pulled back slightly reveling a male chin and other undeniably male features. And you must be the "ignoramus" if you do not believe that the face is that of someone belonging to the caucasian race. JLconservative made no particulary valid points. Just rambled.

I'd like to point out that one thing the film is accurate about is the fact that pre civilization humanity was pretty much looking like: all bone dumb bastards without a clue on the world around them. The movie is quite interesting since it gives a wild stipulation to what might have happened at that time when the pyramids where erected and other wonders of antiquity. It gives ample ground for a mind to go ahead and wonder about what truly happened on earths past when our kind was young into what one might the cradle era of our civilization. A few curious aspects or questions this film raises are the building of the pyramids and the almighty prescence that was guiding the building of them. At the moment the almighty figure dies and lands at the steps of the temple his face is revealed to be that of an elderly white Caucasian male. If you pay close attention to other parts where the blue eyed girl with the scar is presented to the priests, you can notice on the desk a map of the world and it is drawn there a marker that seemed to be somewhere around the middle of the Atlantic ocean. Also among the other interesting parts we can find the gigantic boat being burned and others. If we link all of those together we can find that the author is trying to tell you something like this: 10000 bc an alien race is on earth ( reason unknown) they need to get back back home and to do so they need to build or do something that has to do with the pyramids. They need to reach a location marked on the map reason for huge boat. It's is plausible the thing on the map was an staging location to get in orbit or something.
Looking at our past sometimes it should make the reasonable man ask " what the he'll happened back then?"

READ IF YOU WANT TO TRY ONLINE DEBATE TOURNAMENTS... Since the release of the new website has been pushed back to June of 2008 (I wish the best of luck to parenthood:) but anyway, I have decided to attempt to run a tournament system off of facebook. If any of you want to join, I will try to make the facebook group by the end of today (March 23)... I will name the group "Online Debate Tournaments"... Once you get on, there should be some more explanation as to how I'm going to try to run it and what you have to do to be in them. I will try to get the first tournament started by April 1st... Thanks and I hope to see you on facebook!

Scyrone, on this site, what you wrote is pretty typical of what people write plainly.
Next time I'm afraid you'll need to be less oblique.

JL, how about getting back to your debate with me?
You've already missed two rounds you slacker.

This was really meant to be a joke. But, obviously my opponent does not see sarcasm.
