The 2016 Democrats Presedential Candidates are way better than the frontrunners of the Gop Presedential Race

These people are: Ted Cruz, Donald Trump, Ben Carson

Burden of proof falls on both Pro and Con: (I will attempt to defend Democrats and vice versa for Con)

Round 1 is JUST acceptance

Happy to Debate!

I accept.
Debate Round No. 1

Pro

Thank you Pro for accepting

You still haven't accepted one candidate out of the three so I will rebut each one using the 2 main candidates of the Democratic Party: Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton.

Because you haven't chosen one of these candidates we will narrow the field of issues: HealthCare, Military Involvement, Civil Rights, Education

Bernie Sanders:

Bernie sanders is a Nordic Capitalist also known as a Democratic Socialist. However I would like to point out that Socialism is not something that Bernie Sanders stands for. Socialism is the collective owner ship of the people. I will now show sources of true socialist movements fighting for REAL socialism

Source:http://www.worldsocialism.org...

Now that the stigma of socialism is gone I will now conclusively prove why Bernie Sanders is better for America than Ted Cruz, Ben Carson and Donald Trump

Healthcare:

Ted Cruz is small government guy that's sole intention for healthcare is to abolish ObamaCare. Obamacare has 16 million americans insured where previously they were not and is expected to save America over 190 Billion dollars in the next ten years. Ted Cruz once told a bedtime story to filibuster ObamaCare for over 21 HOURS on the Senate Floor. Ted Cruz has yet to release a healthcare plan that will actually stand out and seems to just to go back to old healthcare system before ObamaCare

Donald Trump:

Donald Trump doesn't need a long paragraph describing his healthcare plan. He used to want free healthcare for everyone and now wants to replace ObamaCare with......ObamaCare....And just call it a different name. Talk about lazy......or hes just a racist person that is a Democrat on the inside.

Ben Carson

Ben Carson is neuro surgeon who basically has no experience in business or politics for that matter. His healthcare plan....... He doesn't have one. His comments on ObamaCare were the closest thing to a plan. He states "We have the collective intelligence to take care of this we don't need to hand this over to the government"

Now for the comparison to Bernie Sanders

Bernie Sanders wants a single payer system in which there are higher taxes however healthcare is practically free. Walk in Walk out and there's no charge. This would save 30000 deaths from occurring in the US from having no healthcare. This would also stop a large number of suicides due to patients having access to free healthcare. From the comparison Bernie Sanders really addresses the issue when 2 of the candidates barely talk about the issue and one of them basically replaces ObamaCare with ObamaCare

Gun Control:

Ted Cruz:

Ted Cruz is very conservative when it comes to Gun Control. He voted no on Banning High Capacity magazine and like the famous Trevor Noah once said "Your going deer hunting not playing Call of Duty for Christ's sake!". He also voted against the United Nation's Arms trade Treaty which restricts the fast flow of guns throughout the world. Ted Cruz also commented that you kill bad guys with good guys with guns. However studies prove gun violence correlates with the amount of guns present in the environment.

Donald Trump:

Donald Trump is the best one out of the republicans though. He said he would look to ban guns from suspected terrorists and no flight citizens. This is a radical move however I don't understand why this is though. He supports the 2nd amendment just like any of the candidates both Republican and Democrat

Sources:

Ben Carson:

Ben Carson is a person who is insensitive to gun violence. He seemingly puts the blame on the victims of a shooting at an Orgeon college. Learn more here: http://www.cc.com...

He is also quoted for saying that "There has never been a body full of bullets that looks worse than taking our second amendment rights away" which says a lot of his morality on the issue

Sources:
http://www.cc.com...

Bernie Sanders

Bernie Sanders is progressive on the issue and makes common sense decisions when it comes to gun control. He once stopped gun control legislation because "it didn't make sense". When a shooting happened in Vermont there was legislation to sue a gun manufacturer for LEGALLY selling the gun. Bernie Sanders said that didn't make sense and he was right. This shows that Bernie Sanders makes decisions based on whats right for America and does not go based on Party Lines.

Education

Donald Trump:

Donald Trump opposes Common Core and supports ending Public School opting for "Parental Choice"
Doesn't address the issue of college costs. Does not address the issue of student debt staying with people almost a lifetime

Sources:http://www.ontheissues.org...

Ted Cruz:
Ted Cruz also concurs with Donald Trump that Common Core should be ended and Public School should have more parental involvement and like above does not address the student debt problem for college students.

Ben Carson:

Ben Carson supports ending common core as well as well as the privatization of school. He also infers many times that he wants Christian beliefs to be taught in school. And yes........like above still does not address the issue of Student Debt

Sources:http://www.ontheissues.org...

Bernie Sanders

Supports common core. Voted to put in an additional 10.2B dollars into education. Supports free public college tuition which will effectively eliminate much student debt. Voted to give 80 million dollars for Hispanic and Black Colleges.

How to pay for all of this:

Bernie Sanders has a progressive tax system in which corporations pay their fair share of taxes and support the American people instead of just making money.

I would debate this if you were to talk about one person specifically. Make a Rand Paul vs Bernie Sanders debate and we can do one.
