i believe that courts do have the responsbility to create racially imbalances schools. one example Assertion #1 : students and society benefit when more children are able to attend racially intergrated schools. Edvidence: yes students benefit more with a racially interegradted school because it will be less bullying through the equality of all races instead of being over jumped by one race, students will feel more compterable by being around it's own kind instead of having one or few in the scho...

Affirmative assertions 1: Courts can step in if school committees can not come up with a fair solution. Boston schools could not come up with a plan so it went to the courts. Affirmative assertions 2: School committees could not come properly desegregate the children. Courts had allowed children from other neighborhoods to go to different schools in other neighborhood. Affirmative assertions 3: Schools did not know how to transport kids from other neighborhoods to different schools in oth...

Burden of proof is on Con.

Burden of definitions is on Con.

I honestly don't give a crap whether you use round one to accept, to post pornography or even to disrespect me.

Do whatever the hell you want.

I'll go along with it.

You can even try and push the burden of proof onto me. I'll deal with it.

I'm not bothered about winning.

I actually secretly wish that I would lose so I'd have a reason to kill myself...

Should evolution be taught in schools?

GlobalIssues
ekin

Evolution is a debatable theory with many arguments for and against it. For a school to be required to teach a topic with such a tension especially in a country with such a large population of Christians is wrong and would spur conflict. People would feel that it goes against their rights to have their children taught something that goes against their religion and or beliefs. The bottom line is teaching evolution would create more conflict than not teaching it....

chess sucks

However stimulatory chess may be, and I do forcuncuate that it is a brilliant game, it is not practical. Have you ever sat down with a friend and say, "Hey! We have a couple minutes, lets play some chess! I'll be white!" Despite the racial puns that could be inserted, chess is not practical unless you have a lot of time and the skill to do so. I am a novice at chess, my rear is pulinificated every time I play somebody, but most of the time we just get bored and play some football. So although ch...

Negative assertion #1: Court-ordered desegregation plans do more harm than good. Questions about schooling should be left to communities to solve. Negative evidence: The court mixing black and whites is making it worse for the students to foces in school. Schools should stay with their own color and race. Negative assertion #2 Courts are powerless to combat prejudice. Negative evidence: Courts cant make you talk to someone you don"t like or feel comforable talking to. Courts can tell you w...

Assertion#1: Courts should have the responsibility to create racially balanced schools. The reason why this is important because students and society will benefit when more children attend racially integrated schools. Because of integration the percentages of a student being bullied because of their skin color will lower.ir Also, the environment will be safer for the students and no group will have more power than another, everyone will be treated equally. Assertion#2:To create a desegreg...

Courts have the responsibility to create racially balanced schools

Claryyxo

Assertion #1: I believe that courts should have the responsibility to create racially balanced schools. In Boston public schools were segregated by race, and the only way to desegregate them was by the court-odder in 1947 that made busses transfer the kids to other school. Blacks and whites were not happy with this decision, and if they were not forced to do it, they would have never done it willingly. There are a lot of benefits to having racially balanced schools; one is that everybody get...
