McCain and Obama should not be allowed on the 2008 Presidential Ballot in Texas.

Johnicle
Tatarize

Ladies and Gentleman, I come to you with blatant ignorance of the law. Let me explain to you: The deadline for candidates to get their name on the ballot in Texas was August 26th @ 5:00 p.m. BOTH the Republicans and Democrats MISSED this deadline by not turning in the papers on time. By ANY interpretation of the law, they should not be allowed to be on the ballot, however, the Secretary of State in Texas seems to be poised to ignore this, and allow them on the ballot anyway. ==============...

With John McCain, the highest chance of World War III will be upon us.

Warmongering... John McCain seems to be receiving this adjective more and more lately. Throughout this round I will prove that John McCain is a warmonger but more importantly, he will give us the greatest chance to be a part of the 3rd World War (which is obviously a bad thing)... ========== Beginning with quotes from John McCain: Questioner- "President Bush has talked about us staying in Iraq for 50 years" John McCain- "Maybe a hundred. That be fine with me..." John McCain- "We wer...

John McCain picking Sarah Palin was a bad move!

ANSmith
the_conservative

As we all are well aware of, John McCain announced about a week or two ago that Sarah Palin, former governor of Alaska, would be his VP nominee. At first I thought this move was genius on his part: Hillary is out, so why not pick a WOMAN as your VP?! Then you'll get all the Clinton supporters. However, the more I find out and research, the more I realize that this was one of the dumbest moves he could make! Especially in terms of PR. P1. Let's start with experience. Palin served from 1992-19...

John McCain (Pro) vs. Hillary Clinton (Con)

littlelacroix
kykrebs

I wanted to start this debate because I believe that in a fight, McCain would beat Clinton. Now although I personally believe that in an election, McCain would still win, but I'm talking about a physical fight. Boxing, superpowers, anything, McCain would still win! Hillary is small, and I don't want to degrade women, but she's not capable of reaching the potential of a man. Many women have this capacity, but not Hillary. Plus, if McCain were ever to be losing against Hillary, he would pull ou...

If you make less than 250,000 a year why vote McCain?

If you make less than 250,000 a year why vote McCain? If you are not concernd with topics like: gay marriage Abortion the death penalty or any other moral issue If you make less than 250,000 why not vote for Obama? Why would you vote for a candidate that wants to give tax cuts to the rich, benefits to corporations that ship jobs over seas, and a candidate that wants to remain in Iraq (whether we are wanted or not) when there is help needed in Afghanistan, and a candidate that wants...

McCain is running for Bush's 3rd term, specifically with war in Iraq.

ANSmith
Captain.America

Clearly this debate is centered around the concept that John McCain is running for Bush's third term. Since the beginning, McCain's tactics and promises for the future (specifically in Iraq) are mostly parallel to those of the current Pres. George W. Bush. As I will make apparent in the rest of the arguement. John McCain says the economy is fundamentally sound. John McCain doesn't think that 47 million people without health insurance is a crisis. John McCain wants to privatize Social Security...
