Christian "only" debate- No christian can be against abortion but for the death penalty!

RTN1994
KeytarHero

This is a debate for christians only because its content is directed toward a christian individual, although It really mirrors for everyone. My statement without sourving, merely opinion: You cannot be against Abortion but for the Death Penalty because they both entail in taking the life of a human being! The only difference is age. Like abortion you don't have the authority to decide someone's death, whether for your own selfish reason or for mere "convenience.". I am now restating why you must...

death penalty

I believe the death penalty should be brought back, as it was a great way of dealing those who rape people or commit multiple homicides. The problem with today is they get caught and then 10 or so years later they get out on 'good behaviour' to commit that exact same bloody crime, it is ridiculous and should not happen, if the death penalty were around it would help make the streets safer and may scare those who are thinking of committing those horrific crimes...

The death penalty puts innocent lives at risk. In the year of 1976, 138 innocent people were put on death row, and taken off minutes from execution. What if all of those innocent men and women had been executed for nothing? For example, There was two brothers, ages 19 and 15, who confessed of murder, but both of them were intellectually disabled. They maintained their innocence since the trial, claiming that they did not know that they were signing a confession. In 2010 Leon Brown contacted Nort...

I thank whoever accepts this challenge in advance; it's my first time debating on this website! The Pro in this debate will need to prove that Capital Punishment is overall detrimental to the United States' well-being. The Con will need to prove that the Death Penalty is beneficial to the United States' well-being. To clarify, by well-being I mean 'the state of being happy, healthy, or prosperous' (1). Round 1 will be for acceptance, Round 2 for opening arguments, Round 3 for rebutta...
