Christian "only" debate- No christian can be against abortion but for the death penalty!

RTN1994

This is a debate for christians only because its content is directed toward a christian individual, although It really mirrors for everyone. My statement without sourving, merely opinion: You cannot be against Abortion but for the Death Penalty because they both entail in taking the life of a human being! The only difference is age. Like abortion you don't have the authority to decide someone's death, whether for your own selfish reason or for mere "convenience.". I am now restating why you must...

I believe the death penalty should be brought back, as it was a great way of dealing those who rape people or commit multiple homicides. The problem with today is they get caught and then 10 or so years later they get out on 'good behaviour' to commit that exact same bloody crime, it is ridiculous and should not happen, if the death penalty were around it would help make the streets safer and may scare those who are thinking of committing those horrific crimes...

Round 1 will be for acceptance, Round 2 for opening arguments, Round 3 for rebutta...

Hunton711

In the year 1993 alone, over 18,000 people were arrested for murder in the United States. Yet, in the past twenty years, there have been less than 300 executions. Today there are over 2,500 murderers on "death row", but less than fifty of them will be executed this year. That's 15,000 to 20,000 murders per year with less than fifty executions! Although eighty percent of Americans still favor the death penalty, many are beginning to have second thoughts as the liberal establishment marches ahead...

child molestation should result in life in prison or the death penalty

lifesaglitch911

first of all, I would like to thank my opponent for accepting my debate. first of all child molestation is taken to lightly. By molesting a child you have basically stripped them of there life. So in my opinion you should also be stripped of yours(no pun intended)...
