Atheists:world from nothing or creator?

jonnyboy39
TheMarketLibertarian

God is creator of the universe. For a thing to cone into existence there needs to be a cause, nothing comes from nothing. To have a bang you need a "banger" God pulled the trigger and the universe came forth. Before you ask me "who caused God" ask yourself why am i asking this,God is ,he is eternal. Things in our universe are winding down, they must of been wound up. Anything made needs a maker,God is neccessary "In the BEGINNING God",he was there he lives forever he holds all things together....

FuzzyCatPotato
Yehoshua

Both debaters must assume the standard Bible is correct.I will defend the statement that "God himself has intentionally killed people".Con must defend the statement that "God himself has not intentionally killed people".No ridiculous interpretations or troll arguments....

The Hellfire Doctrine is an Unscriptural Teaching

Yehoshua
one2one

I will debate that the Hellfire Doctrine is an unscriptural teaching. To begin, we know that God is loving from 1 John 4:8 so would any loving father burn his son or daughter forever and watch them suffer? Logically this completely goes against what the Scriptures teach....

Abortion is morally wrong

Jammie
Sonofcharl

From my point of view, abortion is morally wrong. I believe life begins at conception, and that a human life should be valued. Even in cases of sexual assault I believe no unborn child should be killed, as it wasn't their fault. I believe abortion should be outlawed and stigmatised. Also, I believe being anti abortion is not sexist, and that the fetus is not a part of the women's body. As well as this, I do not believe abortion is a 'reproductive right'....

Should American companies work with countries that use child labor?

bripho
whenry14

In certain countries such as India, children as young as 5 are working in agriculture, restaurants, in factories, etc. Some would argue that children in developing countries should be allowed to work for bonded labor (to pay of family debt) but I do not believe in bonded or unbonded child labor. Children need should not be subjected to such dangerous conditions, they should be getting an education. American companies should not support companies that support child labor. It was abolished in Amer...

Overweight people cannot be beautiful.

npt2
beth.star

All over the world I hear stories about people making claims that "people should be comfortable in their own skin". This is true- up to a point. Fat acceptance is a relatively new movement that says people are beautiful no matter their size- even if that is morbidly obese and overweight. When you are morbidly obese, you are unhealthy and disrespect yourself and those around you. You can not be beautiful and overweight....

Should sex education be taught in school ?

Anasilva17
Sdewalden

Sex education should be taught in schools because it educates young and irresponsible students who think they are on top of the world and know everything. It also educates young and mature students but may not be fortunate to have a proper sex ed conversation held with their parents. Some parents feel uncomfortable to have a sex ed conversation with their kids therefore, they are more at risk of having unprotected sex that can lead to AIDS and pregnancy. My opponent might say that sex education...
