There will be a One World Order ruled over by the Anichrist

MigMa
SpideyTm

Many people over the years, and I don't mean Christen leaders only, but also other people, even some of our own Presidents, like G . W Bush, have called for a New World Order. The reason that there hasn't been one yet is because it's not the right time yet....

religious and ethnic charities should be discouraged and not be eligible for tax relief

iqpiblog
Emilrose

religious charities serve the purpose to provide charity to the needy within their own religious communities. we live in a secular society in which we strive to ensure that all citizens possess the same rights and obligations as each other, irrelevant of religion race standing etc our government has a duty to uphold this secularism in the interest of maintaining a fair society. our govt can certainly not support organisations such as religions whose interests serve only divided segment...

Religions do the world more bad than good

Rezend

You can propose the rules you want, as long as you are serious. To start off: I am not an atheist, I am a pantheist and mean no offense to anyone. This is just arguing....

Does Yahweh, The God of The Bible Exist?

BossAtheism
qwzx

If "Qwzx" (Pro) accepts the invitation. he will defend his position of the god of the bible existing. Pro has the burden of proof and must provide supporting evidence for his positive claims. Logical or Physical evidence is acceptable. I look forward to the debate and hope you accept....

Cunfusion of religion.

2manyproblems

Everyone in it's own matter contridicts the Bible in some form. No matter how strong you feel about it or not. Dont believe me? Just ask someone how they think Jesus got here. The Bible says that Virgin Mary gave birth to him that would be the Cristian religion. But some "Chritstians" say that he has always been there. Which is the Catholic religion. I think everyone in the right mind is confused about religion. Personally I am Agnostic, which means I dont believe in God, yet I dont disbe...

The Bible teaches that water baptism is for - to obtain - the remission of sins.

annanicole
Idauntiles

I'll try this a 4th time: the last 3 negative disputants made very little attempt to negate. The proposition is shortened due to space contraints, and should read, "The New Testament teaches that water baptism is, to a penitent believer, for - to obtain - the remission of past sins." To avoid any confusion, I'll define the terms: Bible or New Testament: the 66 or 27 books in the Protestant Bible. Since Christian baptism is a New Testament proposition, the 27 books therein contained are meant....

roman catholic church has never contradicted itself

dairygirl4u2c

in this debate, i am not counting the issues of limbo, or "no salvation outside the catholic church". you would think if the catholic church were not true, that it would have contradicted itself at some point in two thousand years. the only things that count are statements that are authoritative, things that could be considerted "infallible". the pope, intentionally, teaches, the church, on faith and morals. that is the criteria. it includes many councils and other statements by popes....

"atheism" is not merely Lack of Belief but believing that God doesn't exist

SavedByChrist94
Controverter

Lack of belief, or not believing leaves with only 2 possible reasons for the lack of belief, 1, Uncertainty, which is "agnosticism" 2, believing that no god exist, which is an assertion If it isn't the 2nd then one isn't an "atheist" but an "agnostic", therefore making "atheism"'s definition to believing that no deity/deities exist....
