Vaibhav
Daktoria

Being an Indian with 33 million gods I am very much a theist but being an educated graduate I have a bit of rationalism in me often overpowered by superstitions and irrationalism. So for me its not really that necessary for a rationalist to be an Atheist as personally I am a rationalist but because of family have to support irrationalism...

Nicean Trinity against Socinus' Trinity

radz
Lupricona

Trinity simply means " three" per se. The Bible talks about these three: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Nicean teaching about the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit is that they are the one God. Socinus' teaching about the three is that the Father and the Holy Spirit are one( the spirit being his impersonal presence and power)and the Son is only a human in nature with no preexistence that was given authority after resurrection to function as God albeit not deity in nat...

Transsexuality is not a sin ( Biblical Perspective)

radz
fasttrack

What does the Bible say about male and female, masculinity and femininity? The Bible says that God created man in his own image -- male and female he created them ( Gen. 1:27). This shows that there is only two sexes: male and female. This also means only two genders: masculine and feminine. In fact, this means only one sexual orientation exists: heterosexuality.Hence, only one sort of marriage (i.e. the heterosexual marriage). There exists no same-sex marriage in...

Children should not be allowed to be taught religion is true

JamieKerr
Heineken

I thank anybody who is willing to take part in this debate. Firstly I make it clear that children should not be taught it is untrue either. Simply say, "Some people believe this and some people don't" I believe any form of telling your children that your opinions are true in pure indoctrination. I also believe it can lead to bigotry, as I have seen through many instances of Gays being excluded and Jews being told to go to hell....
