Is God real?

Nosdoh
Dude_3

Is God real? That is the question of the century. I look around myself, and see ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE. I am looking for evidence. What sort of skeptic would I be if I weren't? I like to talk to anyone with another opinion to see their thoughts for evidence. Any takers?...

God had the right to flood the world

dan1966
Ozzyhead

Many people, a majority being atheists and self-described liberals, use the flood of Genesis to attack Christianity. They claim that Judeo-Christian GOD is a bloodthirsty mass murderer who punished the many for the sins of the few. It seems obvious that many of these people don't read the Bible or can't take the time to understand the situation that existed in the days of Noah. God not only was just in wiping all flesh from the planet (Humans and land animals) but Genesis 6 clearly states...

Law should be wrote based on the Bible

wisdomseeker

I would like to debate a fellow Christian who believes that our laws should be wrote based on the Bible. I know there are morels that the Bible teaches that do have their place in law i.e. Don't murder and don't steal, but I want someone that believes law should reflect the Bible simply because it is God's word and we must abide by it. My opponent can start and I expect him/her to give reasons for their view. You can use plain logic, verses, studies, examples from history etc. This is my fi...

The Bible should be the only source of Christian life.

Asp111
muzicfreek916

Christians, Catholics especially, believe that the bible is one main source of our Catholic life. However it is part of a two step part of our Christian, and most other religions life. We, the Catholic people, believe in sacred tradition and scripture, tradition is our everyday life, and scripture is the Bible. The Bible is a source in which we can follow, however, Jesus wanted us to have free will, which makes us allowed to sin, even though we should try to avoid sin. The Muslims have the...

God didn't really sacrifice his son. (short debate)

Trevarno
philochristos

I only want this to be a short debate. I am really only looking for an acceptable answer to this question. The Bible tells us that God sacrificed his only son so that we could go to heaven, but the bible also tells us that he raised his son from the dead again. if god didn't really lose his son, then how is it a sacrifice?...
