It's unlikely that the Origin of Life was brought about through Natural Means.

tschuk
Lexus

The argument will be on what is more likely. The Origin of Life through Natural Means, or Supernatural Means. In order to win, either side must prove that their point is likelier. This isn't about Macro Evolution, whether Evolution is true or not, or what god brought about life. If anything i'll opt for a Deist interpretation of God....

Creationism is a viable theory

64bithuman
creationtruth

The argument is fairly simple: Is Young Earth Creationism a viable, scientific theory for the genesis of mankind/creation of the earth/etc. etc. I'll be arguing that Creationism is a fallacy, while pro will obviously be arguing that Creationism is scientific and viable. Round 1: Acceptance Round 2: Arguments Rounds 3-5: Rebuttal I ask that once the rebuttals begin we focus on attacking all arguments given, so as to avoid a back and forth that would inevitably leave a round un-ar...

Is the theory of evolution true?

Calvinisgoddess
zombie_orchestra

No it's not true, God created the animals. How could anything so complex as, say, an eyeball, be created by mere chance? It couldn't, because the theory of evolution is based upon getting an "upgrade" or mutation that helps the organism in some way to dominate the others it lives with so it can reproduce and make more animals with that mutation. The eyeball wasn't created first try, and it wouldn't be any good if you couldn't see out of it, it would be worse! You can't see, but can still hurt yo...

Government Polocies/Laws For (Outer) Space

TerryEmeigh02
Rawtheran

I believe that there should be no rules for space. My perspective of this is that space, is not owned by a country, nor government. So, who is to say what we can or cannot do in space? If someone were to colonize Mars, for example, they'd more then likely begin a new government. Take for example, the USA. The U.S., was formed by Britain and other "colonizing countries." However, when they got here, they had no "rules" to abide by. They didn't have to buy plots of land, and they surely didn't hav...
