$tarbuck$. A big ripoff.

Starbucks coffee tastes bad, and it's way overpriced. Sadly, Starbucks even lost to McDonalds coffee in a recent taste test. http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/food/beverages/coffee-tea/coffee-taste-test-3-07/overview/0307_coffee_ov_1.htm I contend that Starbucks rips off people by the millions daily, all over the world....

My Opponent Exists.

patsox834
MTGandP

I think the debate's title is pretty self-explanatory. I'm trying to affirm the idea that my opponent exists; whoever accepts is attempting to negate whatever reasoning I choose to put forth. Round one is merely an introduction; arguments will begin in the second round. So yeah, best of luck to whoever accepts....

Solarman1969 is not that bad of a person

cody30228

After being on this site for a few days, there is no one who has ticked me off more than Solarman1969. I thought he was obnoxious, mentally insane, ignorant beyond belief, and a child-hater. I have seen 2 debates over how horrible he is. Now i realize he might not be that bad. GASP! I know this is insane. But I have some good reasons why Solarman1969 is not evil. 1. He knows how to have fun Many debaters on this site and in real-life do not understand how to have fun. I must applaud him for...

Human cannibalism is morally wrong.

Yvette
Cerebral_Narcissist

I disagree with the belief that cannibalism is morally wrong. In round one we will agree on anything that needs clarifying, agree to not rely on semantics, and to be civil. In the continuing rounds we will debate. Arguments will not be presented until round two. Human cannibalism is the eating of one human by another human. For the purposes of our debate we will focus on dead humans. I look forward to a good debate....

Meta-Ethical Moral Relativism Is An Incoherent Position.

TheSkeptic
Cerebral_Narcissist

I thank Cerebral Narcissist for accepting this debate challenge - it's been a while since my last debate, so I've been eager for another one. My position in this debate is not only is meta-ethical moral relativism unsound, it's logically incoherent. From here on out, I will refer to this position as meta-ethical relativism, and to be more precisely it's abbreviated form MMR. The following is a definition of MMR[1]: "The truth or falsity of moral judgments, or their justification, is not...
