Should gay marriage be legal (not is it right)?

15538
Med_Hassan_Bangs

I am arguing the legalization and not whether or not it is right. I think that gay marriage should be legal because It does not affect you if you are not gay. Just because gay marriage is legal docent mean that the government is going to force you to divorce your spouse and get married to your same sex. If you are worried about God's approval than don't get married to someone of the same sex. If someone on tv gets married and you see it you are not going to hell. This reminds me if The Stanford...

Is Gay Marriage right or wrong?

Bunny2015
clarence_pendleton

Gay marriage is wrong. Simple as that. Regardless of man, religion, or politics. I'm not on the matter of whether or not it should be legal. If it's legal for them to get married than let it be so. After all, religion is separated from the state. Parties do what they can to gain the best support from both the minority and the majority. However, just because it is legal does not make it right. Once again, this isn't an issue on should it be legal, or should it be okay, but an issue on acceptance...

Religious Freedom should be upheld alongside Gay Marriage

Gondun
steven8

This is a debate about whether or not the United States should uphold certain religious freedoms regarding homosexuality. Specifically, I believe that people/businesses should be allowed to deny service to homosexual couples on the basis of religious beliefs, but only when that service relates directly to their homosexual marriage and/or family (ie wedding planning, marriage services, couples counseling, adoption services). Things like refusing service at a fast food restaurant because of the cu...

Gay Marriage

Gay Marriage is now legal, Yay! I am for gay marriage, if two people from the same-sex are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives together like any other couple, it should not be a problem. Well its the law now. Having said that, I don't think I will be ok if my children grow up and want to marry the same sex. It probably makes me sound like I have double standards but what would you guys do? Lets debate!...

Court's ruling on gay marriage was illegal

The constitution indicates that any powers not specifically granted to the Federal Government are inherited by the states. Since marriage is not specifically mentioned in the constitution, this was not up to the Supreme Court to decide and should have been left up to the states....
