Cold(pro) versus Hot(con) areas to live in

Capitalistslave
Nuevo

I argue that living in a cold place is better than a hot place. Here are my reasons why:1) It's easier to get comfortable with the cold than the heat. For example, you can always put on more layers of clothing in the cold. With heat, the most you can do is basically a swimsuit(since most places don't allow public nudity), but even then, if public nudity was legal, then you'd just be nude. Even when nude, 100 degrees fahrenheit(37.7778 Celsius) or higher would still feel uncomfor...

Will the Atlanta Falcons beat the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl?

TallSpider
Fernyx

The Atlanta Falcons will beat the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl. They are a younger, faster, and better team than the Patriots. The Falcons are hungry for a Super Bowl Title. They have a better offense and a better defense. The Patriots will come to play like they always do, but this time they will fall short....

Feminism, The Wage Gap, and Rape Culture. Are They Legitimate?

Amarandum
Smooosh

I challenge REAL feminists to a debate on the above topics. I contend that modern, western feminism is illegitimate and based on biased thinking. Contenders will argue that western feminism has validity and is still about equality. R1- Acceptance Only R2- Openings R3- Rebuttals R4- Closings I look forward to the challenge!...

Justification for neonatal male circumcision

AltoInferno
G3PF

Hello, and to whoever may be my contender and peers for this debate, welcome. To start this off, I am a circumcised male who believes that the routine circumcision of infants, for non therapeutic or non religions reasons (though I would argue against those reasons as well, but that is for another debate), is not medically justified, and violates both the circumcised individuals freedom of choice, and the doctor's "do no harm" Hippocratic Oath. A sample of the reasoning and justifications f...

school uniforms

brooke_d00
paulrbrodeur

Uniforms are held to a specific standard when they are given to the school for reuse, just as if you were donating clothes to the needy. Children will not receive uniform that are stained or worn down, they have to be in a moderate shape. Kids at public school wear spandex to school and ill fitting clothing that isn't appropriate to wear to school. If the school isn't strict with their dress code, then children will be able to dress more freely....

School Uniforms

18valleec
thatguymatt

I do not see any problems with school uniforms, sure they restrict individualism but at the same time it allows everyone to treat eachother equally based on what they are wearing. Most kids are bullied the way they dress but school uniforms eliminate this issue. School uniforms also make it easier for everyone to get ready in the morning and look presentable for school. Without a school uniform it is more difficult to control what people are wearing...

School Uniforms

sabrina.rav

Creativity is dying. School age children are at the point in their lives where they are trying to figure out who to be in this world we live in. Wearing a uniform takes away their individuality and essentially their creativity too. Some may argue that uniform codes prevent bullying. Sadly, they do not. There will always be that one child who because of their own insecurities, will choose to pick on an innocent classmate. This will go on with and without a uniform policy. If schools are worried s...
