Hockey is more athletic than swimming.

MattMan1

Hockey is more athletic than swimming; it takes more skill and athleticism. Hockey requires the athlete to use many skills at once, the players must think about their actions in order to perform effectively. Swimming on the other hand, is a straight forward race, from point A to point B. Hockey requires using your mind a lot, and swimming doesn't....

Four Square is the best playground pastime

kenicks
Pluto2493

Ah, yes, the school playground. An ongoing display of asphalt and gravel that seems to stretch for miles and miles. Blissful schoolchildren running every which way, making the best of their break from the torture chamber that is the classroom. The pucker-faced recess monitors in orange vests that blow whistles and chastise troublemakers. These are just a few of the sights one can see when at the school playground. Let's take a look at some of the activities one can participate in at the playgrou...

The NHL season is too long.

The NHL season is too long. I believe 82 games is too many games, and in turn damaging the popularity of a great sport. I would estimate that if the teams played about one less month of regular season hockey, the sport would benefit. Simply stated, the importance of the regular season games would be heightened because there are less games to be played....

The patriots are the greatest football team in NFL history

bonnieboy

Hello, my argument today is in favor for the patriots being the greatest football team in history. As everyone knows the patriotshave the best offense, and their entire starting offensive line is going to the pro bowl. Tom Brady is the best quaterbackplaying now, and can throw with procision and accuracy. Not only are they going to win the superbowl again, while being undefeated, but theyare going to surpass many other records. If anyone doesn't agree with this, you should go to hell...

He will most likely break the homerun record. He is a RBI machine. And he is guarenteed more postseason opportunities in years to come by signing with the Yanks. He will be remembered as the greatest by the time he retires....

Jonathan Papelbon is the best closer in the game today

kenicks
thegreatdebator

Great closers in the game of baseball: Mariano Rivera, Dennis Eckersley, Rich "Goose" Gossage, Willie Hernandez, and Rollie Fingers. All are past their prime, and all are retired with the exception of Rivera, and at age 38 his years are numbered. But a new face looks to emerge out of the world of closing pitchers: Jonathan Papelbon. In fact, he's already emerged. Just two full seasons into his career, Papelbon has made 118 appearances, 81 of those being save situations, closing out 72 of them...

The 2000 Baltimore Ravens were the greatest defense of all-time

hcallega
RepublicanView333

The 2000-2001 Baltimore Ravens were the greatest team defense of all-time. There are several points to back this statement up. 1. This 2000 Ravens were the greatest scoring defense of all time 2. They featured arguably two of the greatest players at their positions (Ray Lewis, Rod Woodson) of all-time. 3. They did not allow an offensive TD in Super Bowl XXXV against a solid Giants offense 4. Ray Lewis, Sam Adams, and Rod Woodson were all named to the pro-bowl They were clearly the best, but...
