Abortion

Abortion is the biggest moral sin that we as a society have accepted since slavery. A woman's "right" to choose whether her child lives or dies is unacceptable and should be prohibited. Every person's life has meaning and to rob an unborn child of their right to life is a horrendous act that should never go unpunished. I am not saying I want to control what a woman does with her body but I am saying that everyone must follow the law and not commit murder....

Abortion is Murder

NoahIsRight
melanielust

I will be arguing that abortion is murder. First round arguments, Second round rebuttals and Third round final words. According to online abortion statistics, over 14 million fetuses have been aborted. For comparison, Hitler only killed a rounded 6 million. If abortion is murder, this makes abortion clinics more evil than Adolf Hitler. "But the difference is the jews didn't WANT to be killed. All the women who had abortions chose to have an abortion." To that I say, and what about the fetu...

Abortion

I deliberately left the topic of this debate broad, to avoid contrived and un-passionate arguments. If you are firmly pro-choice, and are passionate about the so called right to choice, then I encourage you to debate me. If you choose to accept, then simply tell me you accept as your first argument, and then we can start. Good luck....

Abortion is wrong and should be criminalised

Jammie
LePult

I'm arguing from a moral stand point that values human life. I would prefer Con to be pro-choice, as opposed to a nihilist who doesn't care either way. If you choose to accept, waive your first round as acceptance. Thank you and good luck....

Abortion is wrong

Life starts at conception. This is the definition given in any respectable medical textbook. "To declare a beginning of life at any point after the fusing of a wife"s egg and a husband"s contribution is irrational and an exercise in sophistic chicanery. Only machines such as clocks and cars come into existence part by part. Living beings come into existence all at once and gradually unfold their world of innate potential. A living human person begins to exist at the moment of conception, even th...

Abortion should be legal up through the second trimester, regardless of circumstance

SgtHakeswill
Cooldudebro

Round Structure: 1. Acceptance 2. Opening statements (No refutations) 3. Counter arguments 4. Counter arguments + closing statement This will be a policy debate about abortion in the United States. My goal is to support the conclusion that pregnancy termination procedures should be made legal to all women, so long as the procedure takes place during either the first or second trimester (approx 26 weeks after conception), regardless of a women's reasoning for seeking this procedure. My opp...

Abortion is generally immoral

KeytarHero
WriterDave

I would like to challenge WriterDave to a debate on abortion. As I am always looking to refine my arguments in the matter, I am curious how he would respond to my arguments.I believe that abortions are justified if the mother's life is in immediate danger and both mother and child cannot be saved (this is more a case of triage than abortion). I will argue that all other abortions are unjustified and immoral.Round 1 will be fo...

Abortion

Before I start, I urge anyone who is taking the time to read this to always make it a point to research, research and research any topic you hear in school, or on the news, or read in a magazine or newspaper that you are even the slightest bit interested in. There are points taught in public schools that cover only one side of any given subject. Rarely is the entire spectrum of a given subject covered completely. The topic of abortion hit me after a recent debate on a current story out of Ca...
