In this debate. I will argue the following: 1. Reasons people need to become, open minded about Gay Marriage. 2.There is no difference in a gay marriage, then there is a tradional marriage. 3.Gays raising a child. Is not so different from how a man and a women raise a child. 4.The gay community, is a stable community. 5.That the bible verses, widely assumed, to be direct to gay marriage, is often misinterpreted and and not a direct violation or sin, in the christian community. http://chris...

Gay Marriage

I know that a lot of people probably have debated this subject before but I hate how the government discourages two people who love each other because they are with the same sex. I disagree with it very much, just because it's two men or two women doesn't mean they shouldn't love each other. I, myself, am not "gay", I am not interested in the same sex, but I don't think it's fair that just because people like others of the same sex are being slandered and treated differently because of their sex...

In my belief, everyone is equal and therefore they should be treated equally no matter what their are and what they stand for. I believe in Same Sex Marriages and the right for Equality for the whole LGBT community. When two people get married, it signifies their unconditional love and commitment to each other. A member of the LGBT community, primarily a homosexual human being, is still a human being regardless of which gender they prefer to be with. The support for gay marriage is so very littl...

Straight forward debate on gay rights. Men should be allowed to marry men and women should be allowed to marry women. My opponent will argue that this is not only heterosexual couples should marry. Set up Round 1 = acceptance Round 2 and 3 = arguments and rebuttal Round 4 = closing speech (rebuttal but no new arguments) Rules Forfeit and you lose conduct. New arguments in R4 and you lose conduct. No "shouting" or bad language Think that's it. I look forward to hearing my opponents...

Should gay marriage be legal

I think gay marriage is right because a person should be able to pursue happiness as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. Wasn't that the basis for the United States itself?...

RESOLVED: Gay marriage should be legal in all of the U.S.

Gay marriage seems to take up a lot of debate nowadays, and I wanted to get my opinion out in the open. Before I begin a road map of what I will review in my debate, I would like to state that I am heterosexual. To make this debate as clear as possible, I would like to offer the following definitions. Homosexual (or Gay): Sexually attracted to people of one's own sex. Legal: Of, based on, or concerned with the law: "the American legal system" All: Used to refer to the whole quantity or...
