Childcare should be free

Gemim2312
TheAlias6

1. If childcare was made free a lot more children would attend as shown by our first speaker. And as a consequence when children are exposed to a large number of other children for some time it provides the opportunity for infectious diseases to spread. According to the National Health and Medical Research Council, "The typical daycare center...spreads far more infection and communicable disease than than any other institution ." Therefore if more children attend the incidence of childho...

Are tutions good for students or they are waste of time and money???

Dhruv7470
sereneharsh

I think that tutions are not good for students. Because, first of all they consume a lot of time and money. And second thing is that sutdents can study at schools also. But its the fault of students that they are not studying carefully in schools. They are completly dependent on tutions. This is not at all a good act. As per government, tutions are illegal. Only few tutions are certified. Even tution teachers are fake sometimes. There is a law that if any teacher is working at any school. than h...

An english curriculum that focuses on the classics is better than one which analyses modern films

Raucous
elixir

Yes films are better as they are modern and children today should be learning about the modern issues in our society not reading Shakespeare. Kids wont be Engadget or listening in class therefore might not learn as well. A child's brain is electronically driven and books will not get through, that is why films are better....

Evolution: Unalienable Rights, trumps, "survival of the fittest"

Mike_10-4
debatergorl

In this debate, Pro claims the Natural Selection Process and evolution, in general, is accurately portrayed by Unalienable Rights of "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness" (Thomas Jefferson), compared to that celebrated phrase "survival of the fittest" (Herbert Spencer). In this debate, Pro takes Thomas, Con takes Herbert. Let's enjoy a mutual learning experience over a constructive debate....

Sundram7575
CodyLTJames

I don't think single sex schools are as effective as co-ed schools because in co-ed schools students get the chance to know about opposite sexes which will be useful for them in future....

should there be homework?

becoolerbenR
MiaBiaPia23

should there be homework? this is my first debate so don"t be too harsh.Reasons of why there should be homework (pro/for) are: 1.homework is important for future references such as: jobs/CV, speeches etc... this is because of understanding how you can finish/accomplished a task within a short time period which is obviously most likely used in jobs with the fields of business which includes important presentation which may be the next big thing. 2.basically learn more than you can handle an...

Students should be engaged in extra curricular activities

prefdave
soumya_a_thomas

The first round of this debate will be views on the topic, and the same pattern will continue throughout the debate, with the choice of rebuttals and counters from the second round onwards. The adage "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" has acquired a lot of significance today. This is because today"s kids are told to "Play less and study more!" Kids today are forced to get very high GPAs (Grade Point Averages) or secure very high percentages (read unrealistically high!). Thanks to the...
