Time and Energy Have no Beginning From a Biblical and/or Scientific Viewpoint

daley
ricksterpr0

It is often said that the Big Bang was the beginning of all time, space, energy and matter. While I believe that the Big Bang happened, I will be arguing that this event was not the beginning of time or energy. My position is that TIME and Energy HAVE NO BEGINNING. They are eternal, they always existed. I will also be arguing the sub-point that time IS NOT LINEAR, but that past, present and future all exist simultaneously. My opponent my argue from either science, the Bible, or both (tho...

Batman (with no additional weapons or armor) would defeat Bruce Lee in a street fight

ricksterpr0
leonitus2464

Here is the scenario Batman and Bruce Lee walk into a vacant space such as a parking lot facing one another. Neither fighter has any weapons or armor (only their body) and they are both in street clothes. This scenario is also assuming neither fighter will run away, there are no foreign objects available to use against one another, and that Batman is brought to life in our universe along with a version of Bruce Lee in his prime. There are no rules and it is a fight until one of them taps ou...

The Most Accurate Way To Tell If Someone Is 100% Ignorant Without Saying A Word

Aerogant
Mister_Man

They do not live in this reality; they live in their reality. They expect the best for themselves and their clique; they expect the worst for everything else. They do not solve issues that do not relate to their experience - most of the time, issues are not solved at all, or very reluctantly by having no choice, or by force of another. They are distracted by everything except life. They live in the past; plan for the future, with no regards for the present. They never learned how to not say anyt...

Did the sky have a baby (pro) or a Weegee (con)?

Loveshismom
charlie97

The sky had a Weegee because nothing similar babies ever falls from the sky but similar things to Weegee fall from the sky. What falls from the sky and how it is similar to Weegee: Rain- kills you and pops up unexpectedly; looking directly into its "eye" is very risky; don't be around it unprotected Hail- kills you and is unpredictable; does damage; don't be around it unprotected Snow- unpredictable and can kill you; don't be around it unprotected. Babies don't kill you and you do...

Should we use the term "right to exist" when referring to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict?

SocialistAtheistNutjob
Mike_10-4

Many people who oppose the existence of the state of Israel claim that it has no "right to exist". I argue that this term means nothing because countries do not need a right to exist in order to exist. Many countries such as Australia, Brazil, Honduras, Canada, and the USA have only become the countries they are today after hundreds of years of armed conflict with the Natives. Using the same definition of the term "right to exist" that is used in the Israeli conflict, one could argue that th...
