Does having/not having a religion affect your lifestyle at all?

Isasune

Does having a religion affect the way you talk to others and basically live your life daily? It is mainly said that being religious doesn't make you a good person, but being a good person makes you a good person. I'm a Christian but i'm just wondering on other people's views. Thank you...

Worldwide Organic Food is a bad idea

Hlinnerooth
Garsot

I will argue that trying to grow food "organically" worldwide is a bad idea. Organic will be used out of context and will mean plants that are not genetically altered or sprayed with chemicals. I look foreword to your opinions....

Intelligent design is a rational explanation for the origin of species

Jellon
Envisage

Intelligent design (ID) is the belief that life on earth arose from an intelligent source as opposed to natural causes (abiogenesis). As many confuse ID with Young Earth Creationism (YEC), I will explicitly state that ID includes but is not limited to YEC. The BoP for Pro (myself) is to show that there are rational reasons to believe that life on earth was designed by an intelligent source using principles or methods that may be applied outside the scope of the origins of life. The BoP for...

World Government will Impede the Progress of Humanity

wxyz2000
Delons

World government is the notion of a single common political authority for all of humanity. First round is acceptance. Second round is opening statement Third round is rebuttal. Fourth round is rebuttal and concluding argument. I have debated this before in the past, but my opponent forfeited. I might use some of my arguments in the past....

Was Jesus crucified on the cross for the sins of mankind

khizr
Truth_seeker

I strongly believe that Jesus ( may peace be upon him) was not crucified for the sins of mankind. If you think about it rationally, it seems quite absurd, how can one man pay the price for the sins of humanity. There are millions of people around the world. Why would god punish someone else for the sins of other people. That would make god very unjust. How can a christian who has lived as a good human being and another christian who kills people and causes oppression on earth and dies that way...
