Abortion is murder and wrong

Abortion is wrong for so many reasons. Firstly, it is killing an innocent child. When many women kill their child, their kid has a beating heartbeat by then and whatever has a heartbeat is living. Also, people think it's safe. Think again. Anyone can do some research and see the amount of things that can go wrong after an abortion. Another thing is that it's completely disobeying God. Abortion is thus, wrong. This country outlaws murder, but yet they make some exceptions. Abortion is murder and...

Resolved: Abortion ought to be illegal under normal circumstances.

1. Abortion ought to be illegal The abortion of a fetus is not the innocent action some make it out to be, it is a terrible crime against a child that is not able to defend itself or have a say in its future. When a women becomes pregnet, she has an obligation to care for her baby until it is born and then either give it up for adoption or care for it like she should(in some cases adoption is nessecary, but we won't go into that). 2. A human is made at the moment of conception The second...

Moral Argument: Meat Eating

The consumption of animal flesh by modern human beings is morally wrong. Humans have moved beyond the necessity of killing and eating animals for food. We have socially evolved beyond eating other animals. In ages gone by, humans have had to struggle against the wilderness. Every scrap of food was precious, and every hunt could mean life or death for the tribe or family. Eating animals was an absolute necessity for survival. But today, modern humans living in developed countries are...

Making abortion illegal.

Getting pregnant is a personal choice, therefore abortion is a personal issue. If a female wants to change her mind about birthing another human, then so be it-especially if the circumstances aren't fair....

Marijuana should be legal

Studies has shown that smoking marijuana doesn't harm you as much as alcohol. We still see teenagers holding a bottle of vodka passed out of their minds and looking the other way we see two people sharing some marijuana, the two people are relaxed and has not crossed the precipice of where you are wasted out of your mind, the teenager holding a vodka is sleeping on the sidewalk, the teenagers precipice was crossed when he/she started to drink....

Cremations and burials should be made illegal

Cremating dead bodies releases huge amounts of nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide, particulate matter, mercury, hydrogen fluoride, hydrogen chloride, heavy metals and persistent organic pollutants into the atmosphere, thus making a significant contribution to global warming. At the same time, burying corpses is no more environmentally friendly as this method of disposal results in vast quantities of hazardous embalming fluids leeching into the soil. Furthermore, entire forests...

Abortion, in my opinion, is very wrong. Some people are for it but only because they have no clue what happens in an abortion. Well, I will tell you what happens in an abortion now. In an abortion, the doctor will remove some of the liquid surrounding the fetus and replace it with salt to dry out/kill the fetus. To take the fetus out and dispose of it, the doctor will take this vacuum type thing and suck out the fetus piece by piece, killing it all the way. Isn't that a bit inhumane? Well, I...

Smoking is not good for because smoking can lead to death or lung cancer. Smoking kills your lungs. Smoking is one of the worst things kids or adults can do to their bodies. Mandatory health insurance participation (through private insurance companies) for all Americans.

In my opinion, the best way to make health insurance accessible and affordable for all Americans, is to require that all Americans purchase health insurance. According to the The National Coalition on Health Care... Nearly 47 million Americans, or 16 percent of the population, were without health insurance in 2005. Nearly 82 million people – about one-third of the population below the age of 65 spent a portion of either 2002 or 2003 without health coverage. In 2005, 27.4 million work...
