IQ numbers are meaningless.

Cazaam
dsjpk5

Hello, Today I will tell you why the IQ number is a meaningless number and that intelligence is not marked by a person's IQ level. The first point I'm going to make is that the IQ test is outdated. IQ tests have been used for over 100 years in schools and back then they actually did mean what your future was going to be. Having a high IQ reading back then decided your job, your income etc. The IQ test has overstayed its welcome and now some schools still use it but they forget ho...

The Death Penalty should be abolished

W1ll1ph0n3
ThereforeIAm

Hi, I wanted to discuss a very important issue: the Death Penalty As a progressive I'm against it and my view is getting more and more support as I see that those in favor of the Death Penalty have little or no valid argument. Here are some fact: _The Death Penalty costs more than life imprisonment _There is absolutely no evidence that it deters crime (just look at crime rates in the US compared to Europe wich abolished it) _For every 100 executed prisoners there are likely 4 innocent peo...

AlyVee
cwt002

Homosexuality is becoming more common and should be legally accepted into more states. No crime is being done. You are not being forced into homosexuality. If homosexuality was accepted more then I feel as If there would be less kids out there with depression or fear of not being accepted. Instead of telling little kids what sex they'll be with and making them feel as if same-sex relationships are wrong, I believe that children's relationships should be addressed as their significant other....

2nd wave and 3rd wave/modern feminism is harmful and should not exist.

SGM_iz_SekC
Preston

I challenged my opponent, because they challenged me to a flawed resolution. I am not against gender equality, I am against modern day feminism and 2nd wave feminism (about 1960's-70's). This round will not be for acceptance. 2nd round opening arguments. 3rd round is new arguments/rebuttals (both,or one). 4th round is for rebuttals. 5th round is for rebuttals and closing statements....

Should homosexual marriage be legal?

TheSaiyanKirby
KhalifV

The first question you should ask yourself is: "Is the ability to get married a big deal?" If you answered no, you've already lost the debate. There's no point in dealing with such a minuscule issue. If you answered yes, then you should understand that people will go to great lengths to "preserve" the "sanctity" of marriage. Is a certificate really worth more conflict that could potentially escalate to violence? In addition, this opens up a plethora of other questions. What other relationships...
