Hello everybody. Today we are starting a new debate. The topic is that vending machines should be allowed in schools. By schools we are talking about schools from grades 1-12. No new points are to be made in the fifth round. Good luck to the contender, whoever that may be....

Legalising the Drugs Trade: Reducing Crime or Increasing Addiction?

dina.smagul
Smas1k_3531

In 2002 the Parliamentary Home Affairs Select Committee produced a report on UK drug policy. Its final recommendation called on the Government to initiate a discussion at the UN "of alternative ways " including the possibility of legalisation and regulation " to tackle the global drugs dilemma. Why would they have come to this apparently radical conclusion? First, regulating drugs is not radical, it is the norm for most globalised trades and widespread human behaviours (especially those that in...

Is it better to go vegetarian(pro) or vegan(con)?

Lassiepie
TheOutcast

Hi, I'm a vegetarian and I think it is better to be vegetarian than vegan because it is not harming the chicken to lay an egg. I apologize to any vegans out there if I am offending you. I would become a vegan, but I don't really want to give up dairy. I know that cows can be hurt in the automated milking process, but I still prefer being vegetarian. I am not a vegetarian for health reasons, I simply do not like meat nor do I wish to harm an animal....

wyatttt7

I'm am 100% against school lunches! I think they are very unhealthy very bad for you and nasty. I think the government should be worrying about more important things than what kids are eating! Has anyone noticed that kids are far more unhealthy than they were in the 1900s! Let's end school lunches!...

Should euthanasia or physician-assisted suicide be legal?

Tgraygaudet
TheMan2

Euthanasia or physician-assisted suicide refers to the practice of intentionally ending a life in order to relieve pain and suffering.(1) With that said if we do this for our animals that we love so very much why not do it for our loved ones who are suffering from cancer or other terminal illnesses. 1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euthanasia...

(I would like to appreciate if someone join my debate since i am using it for my school essay paper for extra credit. I will give a prize for the person who joins me, money up to 20 dollars or a any prize that worth 20 dollars) Thank you) Having obese people pay a higher insurance premium benefits them as well. In order to avoid paying the extra money, those people will start working out to lose weight and become healthier. Implementing penalties for obese people who are not making any improve...

Alcohol Should be Banned

seaapple
xxXChelseaXxx

I, as the affirmative, proprosed that alcohol should be banned. Before I begin, let me define the meaning of alcohol. According to Health Check Systems. com, alcohol or ethyl alcohol (ethanol), refers to the intoxicating ingredient found in wine, beer and hard liquor. May I begin with my first point. The consumption of alcohol damages health. Based on U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, for the short-term effects, alcohol causes difficulty of walking, blurred vision, slurred speech, slow...

Should your healthcare provider tell you about having an std

JayGarnes
Skeptikitten

My opinion it all depends on who are you are dealing with. If you want to know, then you should ask. But I don"t think it"s necessary unless they are dealing with your food. But most people are afraid that the disease wil be spread not that a certain person that has the disease....
