The war in Iraq
I strongly disagree with the decision of war, we should'nt of even went to war with Iraq, I believe it was all decided upon Bushes' greed for wealth....
the war in iraq is not our war and obama should end it and bring our troops back

the war in iraq would not exist if president bush was not an idiot because iraq was one of the only countries in the middle east not to plan the attack we should not be forcing a way of life on those who do not wish for our way and if this war dose not end soon it will not end for a hundred years because it is a fight we cannot win and a fight that has no true purpose. we should be fighting one of the countries that actually bomed us. bush is using the bombing as an excuse to go to iraq....
There Never Should Have Been An Iraq War

Here are my following arguments: 1: We invaded because we thought there were "weapons of mass destruction" but, if that was the only reason we invaded Iraq why don't we invaded every country that we know has weapons of mass destruction. 2: There are nonviolent ways of winning. My example: President Regan in the 1980's, he created an arms race that he knew would bankrupt the Soviets and they did, and he defeated America's #1 enemy without firing a single shot. So why didn't we do that instead? 3:...
Iraq War

The first round is acceptance followed by one round of case building no rebutting the opponents argument. I will be arguing to end the Iraq war while the opponent must give reason to stay in the Iraq war. Good luck...
Iraq War, should it continue?

The Iraq war has no true meaning. Why then did we enter it in the first place? Because the Bush administration scared us like a herd of sheep. Iraq has been increadibly destabalized, and we're losing lives of Patriots in this war. American blood has been spilled, this can't be changed, but we must stop the meaningless loss of life. As an American it would serve our country best to end the war as soon as possible....
The Iraq war was started by greed, and connections.

My argument is simple, the Iraq war was started by greed, and connections. GREED: 1.One issue about Iraq is Oil. 2.Bush is well CONNECTED to Big Oil. (Daddy Bush has lots of money in Big Oil, and for Bush junior, theres allways the Oil Lobby.) 3.Haliburton is a corporation that makes weapons for wars. Cheney was Haliburton's CEO, and has enormous amounts of stocks in Haliburton. 4. Many contracts have been made to Haliburton durring the Iraq War, making Haliburton...
The War on Iraq

I want to see if anyone can give any good reasons for continuing the war on iraq. Seeing as the person we went in looking for left a while ago, and the fact that we seem to be running around in their country causing more harm than good. Personally i think its a waste of time. While we spend billions of dollars just to keep up a useless presence over there our economy is crashing, granted they predict a recovery but until then what are we to do? It seems as though the only thing we do over there...
The war in Iraq is both good for america and the citizens of Iraq

People who look at the war in Iraq often think that it is a war AGAINST Iraq. This all in all is not true. Our war over in the middle east is against terror. Terrorists are housed in the northern part of Iraq currently. The coalition forces of our brave men and the humble men of Iraq are working together to fight against the threat of Al-Qaeda....
Was the war in Iraq justified?

Just want to hear your argument. I say no because it was not even proven who the attackers of 9/11 were. Some speculations even say it was the government because they can enter Iraq. Discovery Channel (i think) interviewed the people who made the towers and they said, there is no way a simple plane crash could have leveled the building since the temperature was not hot enough to melt the beams unless something under the building was done, like C4's. Also, know WMD were found so why did we just s...
War in Iraq

(This is my first debate on this site, so I am still learning the rules) The War in Iraq has turned out disastrous for the United States of America. It has cost us four hundred and seventy billion dollars (to date), the lives of four thousand U.S. servicemen, and nearly forty thousand casualties. In addition, it has damaged our international prestige, critically weakened our armed forces, and strengthened our enemies in the region (Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, and Al-Qaeda). Let me be clear, I...
