Does the McCain-Feingold "Campaign Finance Reform Act" violate Americans' "Freedom of Speech"???

Csavage472
Jones1

To CLARIFY, I take the unequivocal position "Beyond a Reasonable Doubt" that the "Bipartisan Campaign Finance Reform Act of 2002" co-sponsored by Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) & Sen. Russ Feingold (D-WI) as well as signed into law by Republican President, George W. Bush, is NOT a violation of Americans' "Freedom of Speech" EXCLUDING, of course, the provision in the law that allows the Federal Government to regulate and/or restrict "issue ad(s)." In other words, my position is more accurate of that...

jazzyfizzle

I THINK THAT McCAIN SHOULD NOT RUN FOR PRESDIENT..I THINK THAT OUR COUNTRY IS IN TO MUCH TERMOIL TO HAVE A GUY THAT IS HIS AGE.I THINK THAT WE NEED SOMEONE WITH FRESH IDEAS...WE DONT NEED A PRESIDENT THAT IF HE WOULD RUN FOR 2 TERMS HE WOULD BE ALMOST 80 YEARS OLD..I THINK THAT WITH THE WAY THAT AGE AFFECTS PEOPLE IN OUR DAYS AND TIME I THINK THAT HE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FULLFILL THE NEEDS THAT THE COUNTRY NEED TO BE MET..I THINK THAT PEOPLE SHOULD NOT VOTE FOR McCAIN BECAUSE HE IS IN FACT OLD BU...

If you make less than 250,000 a year why vote McCain?

jeffkhockey5

If you make less than 250,000 a year why vote McCain? If you are not concernd with topics like: gay marriage Abortion the death penalty or any other moral issue If you make less than 250,000 why not vote for Obama? Why would you vote for a candidate that wants to give tax cuts to the rich, benefits to corporations that ship jobs over seas, and a candidate that wants to remain in Iraq (whether we are wanted or not) when there is help needed in Afghanistan, and a candidate that wants...

McCain is running for Bush's 3rd term, specifically with war in Iraq.

ANSmith
Captain.America

Clearly this debate is centered around the concept that John McCain is running for Bush's third term. Since the beginning, McCain's tactics and promises for the future (specifically in Iraq) are mostly parallel to those of the current Pres. George W. Bush. As I will make apparent in the rest of the arguement. John McCain says the economy is fundamentally sound. John McCain doesn't think that 47 million people without health insurance is a crisis. John McCain wants to privatize Social Security...

John McCain (Pro) vs. Hillary Clinton (Con)

littlelacroix
kykrebs

I wanted to start this debate because I believe that in a fight, McCain would beat Clinton. Now although I personally believe that in an election, McCain would still win, but I'm talking about a physical fight. Boxing, superpowers, anything, McCain would still win! Hillary is small, and I don't want to degrade women, but she's not capable of reaching the potential of a man. Many women have this capacity, but not Hillary. Plus, if McCain were ever to be losing against Hillary, he would pull ou...

Barack Obama Would Be a Better President than McCain or Clinton.

I'm sure there are others like me who are very excited about the 2008 presidential election. With so much at stake and some very well qualified candidates across the board, this election will be very historic. I am hoping for a well informed opponent who has a strong position and a good nature towards this topic. Good luck. This 2008 election marks the end of the George Bush era - one marked by bitter partisan divides overseeing our economy crumble, the war in Iraq fester, the war on Terr...

Mitt Romney vs. John McCain: Romney is a better choice for the Republican nomination.

WannabeMusketeer
big_chief90

Former Massachusetts Governor, Mitt Romney, is the best choice for the Republican Presidential nomination. He has the experience as a business man and in the realm of business as a whole to lead America out of it's economic low. He can bring America's economy to it's golden ages. He is also an overall good conservative on all the issues that are important to the hardcore conservative base of the party. He also has the leadership skills, seeing that he has already lead a state in the eecutive bra...

obama's opposition to the surge has just as much if not more merit than mccain's position

dairygirl4u2c
emmccarty214

there was an addition in 20000 troops to iraq, to make it 1.8 or so instead of 1.6 hundred thousand troops. the iraqi government was already, before the surge, coalescing its own troops. 20,000 troops is negligible given the overall number already there, and the force the iraqis were forming and had. that the generals in iraq wants more troops, only shows they want to win, and hte sure way to win is to have more troops. there can only be so many troops in either iraq, or afganist...
