The Obama Care bill should NOT have been passed

jonpistone2
JBlake

I would like to say a few words here before starting my opening argument. I respectfully request that only an American Citizen please join this debate on the 'con' side. I have nothing against view points from other countries on health care, but with a bill where American tax dollars are being used, I find it to be a more honest debate between two citizens directly effected. If I could have, I would have voted No to this bill and look forward to debating with someone who would have voted yes. (...

I'm gonna go ahead and post my case in round 1. Thanks to anyone who accepts; this'll be practice for both of us. I'm running con because this is now my personal final version. Good luck. Please, no personal attacks, and try to be grammatically and structurally clear. Thanks :) _____________________________________________________________________ "[Since the] invasion by Genghis Khan and his two-million strong Mongol hordes to the superpower proxy war between the United States and the Soviet...

President Obama would destroy Bush in an election

Lucky120
thatsbalone

Well lets see if Obama and Bush were to go against each other in a presidential debate Obama would win and here is why. First of all Bush lied through his teeth when he ran the last time, talking about he was going to fix everything as for Obama is doing what he said he was going to do and then some. Two Bush did not do nothing his first 100 days in office as for Obama he traveled around and met many other presidents and actually sat down and talked with them. Obama was not the only one...

Barack Obama's Health Care Plan is simply this... Better than McCains!!!

JTSmith
Ragnar_Rahl

My argument is simple as this... Barack Obama's plan to solve our healthcare crisis is better than McCains! 1. It involves NO government hound-outs!!! 2. It balances inusrance costs by UNAVOIDABLE competition...not by the possible comptetion that McCain hopes will happen 3. Creates an enduring fence around healthcare costs that isnt hands on or government controlled. Its free-market! Unlike McCains plan, Barack's will last indefinately, not provide only immediate relief. 4. Obama's plan...

Obama's Spending is Ruining America

youngpolitic
studentathletechristian8

I say that Obama and his cabinet are ruining our great country with over spending and overstepping their political boundaries. In the first two months of his administration he has put into motion bills that will spend trillions of American tax dollars. Yes trillions. To me that is unacceptable. He took responsibility for the country and he is not treating it well. In a down economy spending is the LAST thing you want to do. We need a few things from Obama. 1. Tax cuts for the middle class (ac...
