Has the public in general maybe reached a saturation point with weed legalization?

TKDB
Sonofcharl

Has the public in general maybe reached a possible saturation point with the weed legalization conversation? The magazine covers, newspaper articles, and the polls, studies, or surveys that have been done in regards to recreational weed legalization? The legalization of weed conversation is in a sense almost a decade old? I've lost count of how many times the term (weed legalization) and the words (poll, study, and or survey,) have been used and expressed in conjunction with each othe...

Are M&Ms a candy bar?

DuncanEVP
ImProbablyWrong0k

I recently watched a video by TheOdd1sOut and James talked about M&Ms being candy bars. Even though I love James's videos and I usually agree with him I can't agree with him this time. M&Ms are NOT candy bars because they lack the last half of the word candy bar. Candy? Yes Bar? NO! IT IS NOT A BAR! If there are candy chunks then that is what I would label M&Ms as. What do you think?...

Is "eternal security" Biblical?

YeshuaBought
judaism

Eternal security, or once saved, always saved is the religious doctrine that once you are saved by Yeshua, you are always saved. Yeshua is the Hebrew Name for Jesus and the word for Salvation, and is what I prefer to call Him. Since I am taking the positive position, I bear the burden of proof gladly....

Fast food should be banned in the U.S!

SD22
Mgomez225

Banning fast food in the U.S will decrease the rate of obesity in America. 60% of Americans are overweight and obese which leads to health risks such as diabetes, sleep apnea, high blood pressure, various types of cancer, headaches, gall stones, depression, asthma, and lower back pain. According to an article published on July 20, 2012, Deirdre Imus from Fox News stated "If fast food advertisement towards kids was limited it would lower childhood obesity rates". With this being said, we can see...

Anti-Vaxxers are actually beneficial to the whole human race.

frankfurter50
TheBiggleOne

I am not an anti-vaxxer, but I think that anti-vaxxers are actually beneficial to the human race as a whole. What they are doing and what they stand for will have very positive consequences. Please respond ASAP. You have 9,000 characters or less in which to prove otherwise. Good luck....

is water wet?

briannaxrice
MasterMewtwo

Water is not wet. Water isn't wet because it is a liquid that wets things. Once you come into contact with water you become wet. Until then water is liquid and you are dry. Splash water in water, it just adds more quantity to water. Splash water on a towel, IT MAKES THE TOWEL WET BUT NOT ITSELF, can water be dried? NO? Can the towel be dried? YES....

Is Harry Potter series better than Twilight Saga?

KhrareMak
RMTheSupreme

Harry Potter and The Twilight Saga have both ruled the book empire very closely. However, Harry Potter is darker, stronger, and better. It offers a lot of language and vocabulary. Harry Potter has each and every element of life like tragedy, humor, mysteries. Most of all it emphasizes on friendship. We can also see the death of a major character, which is rarely seen in stories. Twilight saga follows harry Potter very closely but does not mach with it....

Does The End Justify The Means In Abortion?

NerdiestNerder
Masterful

Personally, abortion is wrong in every scenario. The end does not justify the means in terms of abortion, even if it apparently helps the child or parental gaurdians. Abortion is killing babies, the most innocent of us all, and that's simply it. It doesn't matter whether the birthmother is a special snowflake, low IQued, or not very finacially supported. Abortion is manslaughter, and can not be accepted in American political culture. However, I would love to see what you guys think of this argum...

Smoking law-it's just a tax grab

NileRivers
dukeofpanda

I have given up trying to get a half competent response to this. It's the usual 'You smoke, so you wear it" type answer. I strongly believe the government is using this as a cash cow, tax, forget the basics of offering rehab. Smokers don't qualify for some reason. Government argues that smokers are responsible for all the costs associated with nicotine addiction. I think I would be better off getting high from illegal narcs. I would get help with rehab then no problem. Smokers cannot. Before y...
