Debate.org is superfluous if not detrimental, in the face of modern blogging technology.
Modern blogs have every function to be found in debate.org. Modern Blogs have much greater flexibility with regard to formatting and character limit. Modern blogs allow for much greater voting flexibility allowing for a much clearer picture of consensus. Modern blogs reach a much larger audience. Debate.org has already shown itself to be capable of censorship thus negating any sort of third party non partial peer review type advantage. Modern blogs have multiple backup options....

A Tournament System on debate.org should be implemented.
First of all, I would just like to point out that this is more of an attempt to get the word out than actually debating an issue. I would not mind if it stayed in debate challenges for a long time because I would still be getting the word out. However, if someone is to challenge me, I would consider the voting after the two rounds as being if you think it would be a good idea and who convinced you of that.
