Solarman1969

Hello out there debate.org members Do you have ANY background in hard science, logic and Chemistry? Do you want to have a real debate on the subject of colloidal silver and its effectiveness as a patheogen destructor and health aid? I didnt mean to be a snob before, I was hoping for a minimum BS candidate to debate, but none came - so if you want to take it up, I will be happy to debate you there obviously isnt any scientists here on debate.org yet , so I will be happy to take...

Does Bigfoot/Sasquatch exist or is the phenomena a complete hoax?

Redman
Debater2008

I believe such a creature exists. I do not know for 100% certainty that it does, but I have researched the subject extensively and found that we cannot rule out the animal's existence. It seems that the existing evidence, as theorhetical as it may be, sides with the belief that there is another form of ape on the planet which is manlike in both appearence and its' ability to walk on two feet (bipedalism). I know this is an unprovable argument, as we do not know either way for sure if Bigfoot exi...

The validity of the Miller-Urey Theory

dthmstr254
Tatarize

Reading the debate Giuocob was involved in titled "Evolution is fact," I noticed that he cited the Miller-Urey experiment and referred to it as proven fact. Actually, Miller used the wrong atmosphere model. The atmosphere model modern evolutionists say was around at the time of the development of the first cell was actually a mixture of nitrogen, carbon dioxide, water, methane, and sulfur dioxide. The current Biology textbooks (Mcgraw-Hill's "Life", or the same company's "Biology, 8th Ed") s...

NASA Funding is Reasonable

sirdebatesalot

17.3 billion dollars?!? Are we really going to settle and sustain life on the moon? After doing some research, I found that if we took that 17.3 billion dollars and used it for food, we could feed all the suffering people in the U.S for 52 days. Just imagine that. We obviously need to cut back on this funding. I know it is short, but I think I get right to the point....

Global warming is NOT a phenomenon that is happening right now.

padfo0t

Thank you Ching-Kit for being my friend, Thank you for debating and telling me about debate.org, Thank you for teaching me good strategies. Now prepare yourself. Global warming is an inaccurate theory. As a part of my evidence I will present to you a situation. In the 1970's, many news groups and organizations that studied the weather had a strong belief that we were going to, soon, go through another ice-age. Thirty years later: here we are. Earth has always gone through fluxua...

Funding for NASA is unreasonable

Kasemei
polishgirlinar

Granted, NASA is an extremely important program for the United States, but $17.3 Billion? That's downright outrageous. Much could be done with that money, and I don't believe it's justified to spend that much money on NASA when there are more problems to take care of here, rather then on the moon. Looking to some of my research, it will only take $2 Billion to fund meeting Millenium Development water sanitation goals in all of Sub Saharan Africa! Helping people on Mother Earth, or going to the m...

Free Will is impossible to prove.

FreedomFighter123
Cooperman88

It is impossible to prove that free will exists because we never make the same choice twice. Just a simple example. You walk into your kitchen. You make a pb&j, you can choose between Grape and Strawberry jelly, you choose grape. Now we assume you could have chose strawberry, but you didn't, so it's impossible to prove you could have....

Global Warming is bad because many animals die cause there habitat is getting destroyed. It is also slowly destroying our ozone with pollution. I don't understand how people can even not care about these animals because they want to have higher temperatures and more beaches....
