seeing "invisible" things

ChokingChlorine
MrJosh

Suppose that you are looking at something without really knowing it. Suppose that there is someone out there that blends perfectly with the wall so well that you couldn't determine that you were looking at the person. Well, you would be unknowingly if we thought of this guy to be somewhat of a chameleon projecting the image of what is behind him....

Map Legend

ChokingChlorine
ChickenBakuba

Everyone knows that set in a normal style that 2+2=4, but did you know that you could put 2+2=5 in a legend, and symbolically this can be true?...

An individual should be a drug addict.

TinyBudha
romeoboy

Hola, this debate is of course about whether or not one should be a drug addict. This sounds pretty obvious but I contend the resolution is true. The burden will be shared, assuming I can prove this is ever true, I win. This will have to do with the individual.I will be speaking As If I am a drug addict to prove my point, you must prove to me that I should not be a drug addict. That is the point, nothing more. Please tell me if you want to debate me in the comments.D...

A God can not be omnipotent, omnibenevolent and omniscient

S2hannah
daley

This is a problem that I have spent a long time considering. I have come to the conclusion that it is not possible to say that there is a God who is all loving, all knowing and all able because of the existence of evil. This is often referred to as the rock of atheism and it has founded my entire attitude toward religion, mainly that attitude is that it is not something I can believe. I look forward to someone who can challenge this statement, and who will debate it openly with me without taking...

There is no objective basis for morality.

AGluttonousAscetic
Mike_10-4

I am posting a debate on this subject again because this is a subject that I am interested in and I am seeking thoughts and ideas on it. The last debates are here: http://www.debate.org/debates/There-is-no-objective-basis-for-morality./1/ http://www.debate.org/debates/There-is-no-objective-basis-for-morality./2/ My position is that an objective basis for morality has not been shown to exist; that judging or labeling an action as either moral or immoral is the result of individual belief,...

God Probably Exists

Rational_Thinker9119
Bscott84

God will be defined as the fundamental Mind that grounds everything else.... I will be arguing that God exists using some unconventional arguments, but I will not be arguing that this God is the God of any particular religion. For Con the first round will just be for acceptance....

Healthcare is a right.

YeshuaIsTheOneTrueGod
gizmo4me2

No need to introduce yourself, just jump right in. I will state why I believe that healthcare is a right. My reasons: People have the right to their bodies. People have the right to live, and without healthcare, life is not possible. If someone does not want to be sick or injured, they should not have to. It is wrong to force people to suffer....
