Euthanasia Should be Legal in Medical Practice

JonathanVN
UchihaMadara

As the title of the debate would imply, the purpose of this argument is to discuss whether or not euthanasia should be legal in medical practices. I am against this (attacking it), and thus I would expect my opponent to argue in favor of it. The first round of five is solely for acceptance, and each person will have three whole days to respond before forfeiture of the round. May the smartest man win!...

Resolved: Todays music has a negative effect on the youth of America

peyton.olson
Pfalcon1318

Today I will be affirming the resolution that states that todays music has a negative effect on the youth of America. I will be providing three arguments/ examples to support my case. Contention 1: Nicki Minaj's music is influencing young boys to be mainly attracted towards a womans body as opposed to other important features. Cont. 2: Most songs of todays artists talk about drinking, smoking, and having intercourse. I don't think this is a positive influence on teenagers, or anyone for that mat...

Abortion

jezziqqua
Mehul555

Giving birth puts the life of the mother more at risk than the baby. So if a fetus was defected, and wouldn't even be able to survive after birth, why should the mother risk her life to give birth to a baby that won't even survive? And why should the mother become so attached to a baby.. her baby for 9 long months only for the baby to not even have a chance to survive? That is too cruel for the mother. A woman should be allowed have an abortion....

Alcohol should be banned because it effects our lives and it can cause people to die. It intoxicates our bodies, and also it has a negative effect on the human soul. Alcohol has not effected my family or loved ones but it effects many others threw the world. I believe congress must take part of this immediately, and ban alcohol....

Schools Need to Serve Healthier Lunches

Debatequeen1
hamo94

One of the leading problems in society is obesity. Childhood obesity is becoming more popular, and one of the leading factors for this is school lunches. Many kids buy lunch at school. The lunches at school are not healthy at all. Most of the food is packaged an pre-made, and the food that is made at the school isn't healthy. For example, the pizza at school is full of grease and not made well. If obesity is such a huge problem, why are schools feeding kids such unhealthy food?...

Resolved: Vaccination is, on balance, both safe and effective

I have done this debate a few times, with less-than-challenging opponents. This debate is open to anyone, however please only accept if you are of the opinion that vaccines are bad or you consider yourself to be an 'anti-vaxxer'.I will borrow from my previous debates in my opening round, and from then on any responses will be driven entirely by this debate.- 10k characters- 4 rounds- 72-hour argumentation- 10-day votingThe resolution is...
