McDonald's can be harmful.

sdcharger
Cindela

Ladies and Gentlemen, Good (whenever you are reading this) Thank you for accepting this debate. My first point: McDonald's kills animals for food. This in itself proves that McDonald's can be harmful because McDonald's is harmful to animals. No further argument is needed for this point. My second point: McDonald's is fattening. According to the McDonald's website, a cheeseburger alone has 6 grams of saturated fat. A ten-piece Chicken McNuggets has 1120 mg of sodium. And did y...

bringing a kangaroo to the prom would be more benificial then a swan

frenchmoose
Logical-Master

This is true because (as we all know) kangaroos are much more adept at fighting off offenders that wish to bring harm to them.. thus noone would get in your way ad all of the french fries and cake would be yours for the takeing... If you were to bring a swan then the swan would try to flaunt its feathers everywhere makeing it a hazzard to the tables that would other wise be washed by the scrubbing of the floors of hyrule.. Also tghe damages would cost over 9000$ if you brought a swan opposed...

Parents Should Vaccinate Their Children

bsh1
MIguelVal

PrefaceI've talked with several people recently about a trend among parents not to vaccinate their children. Personally, I find this trend to be alarming, and view the decision to not vaccinate a child to be morally reprehensible. I would therefore like to debate this issue, to air my feelings on the subject. There is a 48 hours response time on this debate, so please bear that in mind prior to accepting.Full Topic

The history of Menstruation is an interesting one!

BblackkBbirdd
LifeMeansGodIsGood

People don't like talking about periods, especially the mens, but they have a fascinating history! And I think everyone should know it! We learn about sewage and poop in history after all, why shouldn’t we learn about periods, they’re both waste products? Anyway, periods have a far more interesting history than poop. I am pro, and argue periods have a verrryy interesting history. Con arg...

Porn & Masturbation are Harmful to your Health.

dwmiller
AlternativeDavid

This is a debate on whether porn and masturbation are indeed harmful to your sexual, and overall health. I will be taking the pro position that they are indeed harmful. The round rules are as follows. Any going against these rules will result in loss of the conduct point: Round 1-- Accept by a con position only. Round 2-- Main arguments from each side. Round 3-- Rebuttals to main arguments by each side. Round 4-- Rebuttals to opponents rebuttals, and closing arguments. This is a frie...

Death Penalty

lilianhunter
WilliamsP

You say imprisonment is the best route to take, but the death penalty is for INHUMANE crimes. I'm sorry but if it is unjustly to be put to death for murdering, raping, spying, terrorizing; how are those not inhumane as well? Also in prison, prisoners can access books, television, calling and visiting their loved ones, better health coverage than most unemployed Americans and three meals a day. Yes, what a punishment that is....

Homeopathy should be banned

InBonobo
Logician

The last few years have seen particularly in UK an intensification of the establishment's fight against homeopathy with numerous people calling not just for the government to stop subsidizing it, but to ban it outright. If you accept this challenge, you would be arguing for banning homeopathy, while I am arguing against banning (i.e., to maintain the status quo). If you find it too difficult to argue for banning, I will also accept arguing for simply delisting (i.e., "unsubsidizing") it if that...
