Do you think that people with AIDS or HIV should die

Lryeann719
Omnipotence1

Okay so my best friend and I were talking, she pointed out to me that so many people in this world have AIDS and HIV. And how they are have sex with people and are spreading this disease to every person they have sex with. And most of time the person with AIDS or HIV don't even know they have it then end up spreading it. But just because they have it and they spread it doesn't mean you should end your life early, even though you are going to die anyway. Give people they chance to live the life t...

Was Abolishing Slavery the Right Choice?

SinDarling
afroninja61104

Back in the earliest century of America, there were 5 slave states and 6 free states, then a balance was starting to be created. People of the North, were against slavery, while people of the South were for slavery. In 1850, California became the 31st state, and due to popular sovereignty, it became a free state that would then throw off the balance of slave/free states. Two years later, Life Among the Lowly (also known as Uncle Tom's Cabin) was published, a book about a slave. For the first tim...

Morality is subjective.

Fiver
Ockham

A trim debate (low word limit), for an admittedly too-broad topic. I will be arguing that morality is fundamentally subjective. Debate format will be: 1. Acceptance. 2. Basic arguments (no rebuttals) 3. Rebuttals. Definitions: Objective: Based in the object, rather than the subject, of the object-subject relationship. Factual regardless of personal feeling or emotion. Verifiable by strict, widely-held standards of verification. Subjective: Based in the subject, rather than th...

Should Transgender People be able to use their Preferred Bathroom?

Zoecri
qwzx

Hello! Thank you for joining the debate! I will be arguing that trans gender people should be allowed to use the restrooms of their choice. Trans gender people should be treated as the gender they are now. If they want to use their restroom, they should be allowed to. Imagine if you always had to go to the restroom of the gender that you weren't. It would be pretty hard. And thats what so many transgenders everywhere feel like if they live in a state where they have to use the wrong bathroom....

The KJV1611 Translation is best to use in the English Language

kwagga_la
Jonbonbon

The KJV1611 is the best Translation to use in the English language. This is based on the Manuscripts it was translated from and that it agrees with the beliefs of the early Christian Church. As Con, it is up to you to present arguments why the KJV1611 is not the best English Translation to be used and why it would be inferior to other Translations. Please start from the first round to present your arguments. Thanks....

Are snakes good?

Cheore
Zarroette

This argument is purely opinion, I'm just going to say why snakes are amazing and why I love snakes, and then whoever can say why they don't. Snakes are amazing, they are adorable, have you ever seen a snake? People normally associate snakes with scary fangs and even the untrue slimy skin, I will admit when I was younger, I thought snakes had slimy skin. That is far from the truth, snakes have smooth skin, I mean, if rubbed the wrong was it can be rough(which is very uncomfortable for the sna...

Should AI in the future have rights?

Zoecri
TheColtEqualizer

Technology is rapidly being developed, and it's clear that we will have developed full AI in the near future. If we create Artificial intelligence that can think, feel, and learn just like humans, they deserve the exact same rights as humans. If you would give a human rights, then you should give rights to something exactly like a human. It just makes sense....
