Amina Amjed The Case for Animal Rights Round 1 1. The use of animal for science, for commercial purposes, for agriculture purposes and for the purposes of sport hunting and trapping should be abolished. 2. We should regard animals just as we regard those who are unable to defend and protect themselves such as children, the disabled and the elderly. 3. 14 Year olds who have been convicted in adult court of 1st degree murder should be sent to adult

mbronson
sstubbs15

I agree that 14 year olds convicted of first-degree murders should do time in adult prisons. If you have the mental and physical capacity to commit or attempt to commit this type of murder, then you have the capacity to be treated as an adult for punishment....

Should juveniles under age of 18 be sentenced to adult prison?

todonnell
crenales

I think that if need be, juveniles under the age of 18 should be sentenced to adult prison. If the crime is bad enough, such as if a 15 year old robs and gruesomely kills a man, due to the crime they should be sentenced accordingly to adult prison without alternatives such as juvenile containment or rehabilitation services....

jford16
ggivetz

I believe that the death penalty is preferable over life in prison without parole. The criminals who commit crimes that warrant life in prison such as murder, deserve the worst possible punishment. life in prison without parole is preferable to the death penalty

mherrington
jpeel

I think that the death penalty is more preferable for prisoners even though it is not for the general public because they would rather have the death penalty then spend their entire lives in jail without a chance of getting out....

Non-violent offenders and murderers should be segregated in prison.

knlandry
tclark16

With murderers and non violent offenders in the same area of prison, more conflicts occur. Murderers are there clearly for violent purposes and they have it in them to be more violent. The non violent offenders are in there for some other reason and have no reason to be violent towards anyone. Mixing them together would only cause problems that would not occur if they were not in the same area, like unnecessary fights that violent people get a thrill out of....

Pit Bulls "In The Community"

11ksawyer
ehe5175

Many people have either been told that they can't have their family pet (pit bull) in the apartment community and/or telling the family that they have to get rid of the pet because of what the news says about them. I have no doubt that some (tiny amount) of pit bulls attacked another person or even their own but news stories don't get into the full story of what happened....
