Pro I affirm that a circle can fit into a square hole.Report this Argument Con In SOME cases, yes. But if both the circle and square have the same square area, no. There has not been a square size and circle size, therefore we will say both are 4'. Therefore, the motion is false. I await my opponents response.Report this Argument Pro Rockylightning forfeited this round. Con Livebriand forfeited this round. Pro Rockylightning forfeited this round. Con Since my opponent has forfeited the previous round, I will continue with the set motion. Due to the different sizes, yet same area, the shapes hold space in slightly different areas. Some overlap exists, but not all of it overlaps, meaning the circle CANNOT fit in the square. I await my opponent's response (if any).Report this Argument Pro Rockylightning forfeited this round. Con Livebriand forfeited this round. Pro Rockylightning forfeited this round. Con Well since my opponent has not posted any rounds, I guess the motion still stands. It is completely logical for a circle of the same square footage to not fit in a square of equal square footage.Report this Argument

You both fail, but the Pro moreso. Don't call my debate pathetic when you don't even participate in the ones you create, loser.

please realize my opponent failed to refute the motion even when I forfeited all the rounds

Why would you take this debate? The resolution is pretty much un-negatable.

Ughh I meant my d*mn pocket pc wasn't posting my rounds that I attempted to post, giving me errors... saying I'm forfeiting when I posted in time - or so I thought. The other comments were because it wouldn't post what I told it to, posting a previous round in the comments instead. :S grrrr
