A man with a hatchet would absolutely murder a grizzly bear.

according to hatchet.com hatchets are the greatest weapon of all time and whoever yields one is invincible.

Also 91.64% of all grizzly bears are bums who can't fight anyway. so chances are, the grizzly bear would suck at fighting.

Hatchets are super lethal and can cause 1000 damage points. all the guy would have to do is a variable flip spin chop and the bear is history.

BONG!

I dare someone to oppose me on this.

well i respect my opponents view and i understand how lethal a man with a hatchet is but he has look over the very obvious fact that this is a bear he's fighting you know the bears that were used in order to defeat the germans in world war two. These killing machines have beat men with guns they certainly can beat said man with said hatchet. Also bears rhymes with hairs which rhymes with stairs and my argument is completely backed up by this because these are both allies to the bear. Hair already has invaded the mans head and stairs well stairs are the leading cause of death to men holding hatchets and or have really thick beards.

The hatchet is a single-handed striking tool with a sharp blade used to cut and split wood. Hatchets may also be used for hewing when making flattened surfaces on logs; when the hatchet head is optimized for this purpose it is called a broadaxe.

Hatchets are taxonomically differentiated from hand axes by some using one or more of the following characteristics: the addition of a hammer head and a head 1–3 pounds (500 to 1,500 grams) in weight.

Hatchets have a variety of uses, such as tasks normally done by a pocket knife when one is not present. The hatchet can also be used to create a fire through sparks and friction.

Secondly, COME ON!!! are you serious???!!! no way! get real!!!! a dude with a hatchet is wicked dangerous!!!!
he would just be like "BOOM! gush! POW BAM!!!" and the bear would be like "AWWWWWWWWW!!" then the bear would die.

I would like to thank my opponent for attempting to beat my awesome debating powers.

That was a very nice rebuttal shmevin shexton ha take that messed your name up any way

Male grizzly bears can reach weights of more than 454.5 kilograms (1,000 pounds), but more typically weigh 181-350 kilograms (400-770 pounds).[1] The females are on average 38% smaller, at about 114-160 kilograms (250-350 pounds), an example of sexual dimorphism. On average, grizzly bears stand about 1 meter (3.3 ft) at the shoulder when on all fours and 2 meters (6.6 ft) on their hind legs, but males often stand 2.44 meters (8 ft) or more on their hind legs. On average, grizzly bears from the Yukon River area are about 20% smaller than typical grizzlies.
Their colouring ranges widely across geographic areas, from blond to deep brown red or even grey. The grizzly has a large hump over the shoulders, which is a muscle mass used to power the forelimbs in digging. The hind legs are more powerful, however. The muscles in the lower legs provide enough strength for the bear to stand up and even walk short distances on its hind legs, giving it a better view of its surroundings. The head is large and round with a concave facial profile. In spite of their massive size, these bears can run at speeds of up to 64 kilometres per hour (40 miles per hour). However, they are slower running downhill rather than uphill because of the large hump of muscle over the shoulders. They have very thick fur to keep them warm in brutal, windy, and snowy winters.
Grizzlies can be distinguished from most other brown bear subspecies by their proportionately longer claws and cranial profile which resembles that of the polar bear. Compared to other North American brown bear subspecies, a grizzly has a silver tipped pelt and is smaller in size. This size difference is due to the lesser availability of food in the grizzlies' landlocked habitats.
Now the scary part Grizzly bears make up 73 percent of all forest so no matter where you are a grizzly bear is probably close by feeding on your friends. Grizzly bears have claws that can retract in order to fight of humans far away from them becuase there arms cant reaach it is also true that grizzly bears are sore losers they cant lose so they will kill anything that beats them so even if this " bitch with a hatchet" kills him he is most likely to pull a jesus and kill that man. Grizzzly bears are also skilled at building mines out of pine cones and ram piss these are very deadly and have killed numerous men with hatchets. for every grizzly bear he or she has killed 6734 men with hatchets thats not counting the women with hatchets and babies with hatchets.

now for my opponents ranting it was unneeded and here is mine: dude you totally suck and should be pissed on numerous times one day you will go through the woods and step oon a bear mine u should deff suck it

Agree Before: Con
Agree After: Con. Although Pro claims that 91% of grizzlies can't fight, Con gives us the statistic that each grizzly has killed over 6,000 men with hatchets. Without any comparison from Pro, odds are with Con here. Even if Hatchet Man does 1,000 damage, what if the Grizzly has 1,001 HP? There is no evidence that 1,000 damage is a killing blow. Pro says bears can say "AWWWWWWW", which I doubt can happen. Con's bear mines seem pretty dangerous.

Conduct: Pro; Con hurls insults at Pro quite often.

Spelling/Grammar: Tied. Sorry guys - this was awful.

Convincing arguments: Con. That 6k kill ratio (If I had a 6k ratio in COD that would be amazing) and the bear mines would probably defeat anything Hatchet Man has.

Reliable Sources: Con. This would be a tie, but Pro's "hatchet.com" redirects to Dow AgroSciences. Not related to Hatchets at all.
