This is my first debate but I do have a few solid rules that will be kept:
-Round 1 is merely an explanation of how this debate will go;
-All opinions will be invited but aggressive input will not be tolerated;
-Round 3 is a conclusion.

I accept. Pro has the BoP.

Assuming that a woman hasn't gone through any physical or mental trauma in the conception of the child, even then I believe she has a right to her own body. That she may do with it what she pleases, especially in the case of childbirth; due to the trauma of childbirth either through C-Section or the traditional way, there should be no question as to if she has control over how she deals with her unborn child.

My opponent simply supplies his opinion and does not give back up or reasoning for his opinion. I'll break down his argument a little at a time.

"Assuming that a woman hasn't gone through any physical or mental trauma in the conception of the child, even then I believe she has a right to her own body." Why? There is nothing backing this up. Now, it is worth mentioning here that a baby and the mother are genetically separate from conception, making the unborn child not part of the mother's body.

"That she may do with it what she pleases, especially in the case of childbirth; due to the trauma of childbirth either through C-Section or the traditional way, there should be no question as to if she has control over how she deals with her unborn child." Again: Why? There is no backup here.

Although, I notice my opponent calls the unborn baby what it is: a child.

So, I'd like to ask my opponent a simple question: "It's OK for a mother to kill her child when _____"

No you wouldn't, but that evidently wasn't Ray's point, or he wouldn't have made it a self-refuting question in 180.

Not sure if Con's question at the end of round two was from the 180 movie, but if it was, I'd advise Pro to answer:
"When it's Hitler".

Reasons for voting decision: FF. Debate clearly goes to con. Pro FF round three, and did not rebuttal any of cons points. To me, pro concedes cons points.

Reasons for voting decision: Pro dropped out during cross examination, losing argument and conduct. NOTE: Pro please press enter after the enemy quote, and possibly place their quote in bold (you know, make it crystal clear when they're talking, and when you're talking).
