Pro A human being begins life at conception. (1) (2) This means that both an embryo and a fetus are human beings. Abortion terminates a pregnancy by ending the life of the embryo or fetus. (2) I've established that both an embryo and fetus are human beings, so abortion is ending the life of a human being. This human being is far from any accepted age of responsibility, so it is innocent. That is why I contend abortion is the killing of an innocent human being.
