Debate Rounds (2)
There are already too many unwanted babies in our world. Why add more?
Life doesn"t really start until birth. Every baby has the right to have a family that cares and loves him or her; if this is not possible, abortion should be okay.

Reasons for voting decision: It's subjective to say that a fetus doesn't exist during the first trimester, it's just "Tissue" huh? It's strange, every Mammal in the world is referred to as a "Fetus" during the first trimester except humans...we're just tissue. "She's the Mother, she should decide what happens to her baby" - under this logic it would be perfectly fine to drown an infant in the bathtub at 3 months old because she's the Mother and it's her decision. Since when did pain become the deciding factor in whether or not it's acceptable to kill something? It can't feel pain...so if you give a 2yr old a full dose of anesthetic then it's ok to kill it because it won't feel it? And "Too many unwanted babies" - that's justification for killing one? If you can't feel pain...is it ok to kill you? If you've never experienced life...is it ok to kill you? Fetus, tissue, organic matter, it's all alive...it isn't dead. Abort is synonymous with Kill. Something must be alive in order to kill it.
